Arctic Monkeys I think will sub this year, unless they decide to do a full U.S. immediately after their Europe dates or at least in Jan/Feb.

NIN
Daft Punk
and for random guessing one of the below:
Justin Timberlake / Lady Gaga / Eminem / Drake / Tool / whatever band has a new release and is kind of popular / The Smiths (hahahaha) /
But in all seriousness I do expect them to up their game in terms of headliners. If I remember correctly the Weekend One pre sale from last year sold out in a day. This year Weekend One tickets didn't sell out until a couple of days into the pre-sell. I know Coachella may always sell out from now until the end of days BUT I think GV won't gamble this year and book something big. Which will mean less bands playing (boo!) but bigger gets (yay!).
I personally believe they had Daft Punk booked before the pre-sell even went up. The longer we don't hear about touring from DP - the more likely we see them on the fields.
I'd love for you to elaborate on that last bit.
I don't think GV would book DP unless they were the FIRST show in Los Angeles (or, ideally stateside).
I don't think they would have done that stunt before the YYY show on Weekend One unless they felt confident that DP was playing next year.
The longer we wait to hear about DP tour plans - the better the odds they play Coachella.
Justin Timberlake or Drake seems all but confirmed.
I can see The National returning to Coachella, but not as headliner.
Kanye is confirmed to be planning a tour, but I really doubt that it includes a Coachella stop.
Mumford, Jack White, & maybe Foo Fighters could land a spot
The Knife can warrant a sub-headlining spot, as well as QOTSA
Jay-Z has a new album coming out, so maybe a Jay-Z/Beyonce set is plausible
There are a ton of great artists getting back together(BoC, MBV, Dismemberment Plan, NMH, Replacements, Avalanches), so hopefully we get a set from one of them.
Calling it right now. (so I'll probably go 0-3)

As a guilty pleasure that buzz ballads double disc is phenomenal

Convincing friends for Grizzly Bear as I type this.
Would 2011 to 2014 be the shortest time between repeat headlining sets?
