I don't think anybody is going to do that. Especially now that you already spilled the beans, dude.

No, we don't believe him. Grab the 9mm just to be sure.
I have had many good and some bad experiences at the Fox. It sounded amazing when I saw New Order, but not so much for the Smashing Pumpkins.
the sound at the fox is always bass heavy and reverberating. just about every other major venue sounds much better... the fillmore, gamh, warfield. i'll take the smaller venues over the fox too. every time i've been to the fox it sounds the same and my friends have had the same experiences. at one show i attended, some guy next to me even went to the sound board to complain.
i don't know why some people don't pick up on it. maybe it's preference, maybe it's hearing ability, maybe it's experience. who knows? i thought the sound in the gobi last year suffered from similar problems and my friends agreed. my first thought was, "is the fox theater sound guy running this tent too?".
I've had similar experiences at the Fox, definitely not at Jonsi and Monsters of Folk though. It has the possibility of being good.
Wouldn't it be great to have Peter Hook join New Order on stage at Coachella?

I was right up front and to me it sounded great. The crowd made the show everyone was going nuts and they fed off it! The greek show was better cause of the song ad's and me getting to meet Bernard! Can't wait to see them with Johnny Marr the night before Coachella in Santa Barbara!

Mine as well. But man, when these older Brits start acting like pissy coonts towards one another, it's some bitter stuff. Probably go to their graves never speaking again if they can help it. But Hooky is a helluva bass player. Almost legend. Can't say I won't be thinking about it during the NO set here.

Ive seen New Order a lot over tha past 20 years, Hooky and the rest of NO, dont get along. Since he has gone, theyre actually better, more fresh (check out their berlin gig on youtube esp Temptation). It wil be higher energy, they actually want to be on stage now, as opposed to just fdoing it for the money. I saw them in NewYork last year, amazin
Incredible set list, but why doesn't Technique get any love?
I've been reading a bunch of interviews with both Bernard and Hook. Hook really comes off like the bad guy no matter whose side you hear. It sounds like the rest of them may have done some shady legal things to get control of the trademark, but that was AFTER he just went and announced they were breaking up without consulting anyone else. He just seems really bitter.
The worst was that bit where he said the new bass player was miming to a backing track. "You see, he's playing low and the track is up high". Apparently it's a song with 2 bass parts and Hook used to do the same thing because it's impossible to play live otherwise.
I have hopes for a good show because it really sounds like they are having fun again. Reminds me of the Pixies comeback shows, just go out, play the hits, enjoy being appreciated. (& profit). But Bernard is just the worst frontman ever, so I won't be expecting that much. Just give me a good setlist.
I know it wont happen but I would love to see State of the Nation live
or even better, Shame of the Nation (never performed live, at least from setlist.fm)

Really hope they play Regret, looks like they've only played it a handful of times this tour. Anyone think they'll play a tune off of their latest album? I think Californian Grass is almost a certainty.

God, you suck so fucking bad, I can't fucking stand the thought of you being at Coachella, polluting the Polo Grounds with your filthy disgusting exhale breath.
