I was crushed, angry and annoyed at first when I heard he cancelled, but looking at the entire line up and reminding myself of all the other great acts playing, I am okay with it and I will catch him another time.

He wasn't on my list of must sees, but I was still going to watch him perform.

He was one of those artist that was going to require a back up plan in case he started to suck. My research in preparation to this year's festival told me that I would indeed need a back up plan for him.

Last California gig was 2006 and last proper US tour was 2003.

Rarity was a big reason why many of us were excited to see him on the lineup. Way more than half of the people that would've attended his sets at Coachella will now NEVER see him live.

In the end Friday is so stacked, there's no shortage of wonderful alternatives. If he had been scheduled Sunday night, would've been a different story.
