Honorable mention to Ride, Caribou, Tame Impala, the Orwells, War on Drugs, Desapaecidos, Kasabian and Jack White.

Todd Terje, Interpol, and Royal Blood get DQed from my list because I saw only 10-20 mins of each set but they sounded great. A Banks also sounded awesome but I needed to take a break during her set to chill in the back so didn't see her much.

Wow Caribou is on a lot of these lists, might have to make them a priority next weekend.

Also surprised to see Ratatat on so many lists. It came off as pretty underwhelming on the webcast, so I'm glad you guys enjoyed it.

    1. St. Vincent BY FAR
The rest of these are in no particular order:
    2. Jenny Lewis
    3. Lykke Li
    4. Bad Religion
    5. Kasabian

Edit: Fuck I forgot about Yelle and Belle & Sebastian too. There were at least a dozen acts I saw that would have made top 5 any other year but this one, this year's lineup was just too good. I'm laughing my ass off now looking back at all the bitching about how shit the lineup was back in January, the people who thought that were laughably wrong.

There were very few bad sets this weekend, almost everything was great.

    biggest disappointment:

    FKA Twigs

Edit* After reading other's lists I realize how many great sets I forgot about. This seemingly underwhelming lineup ended up producing one of the best weekends of music I've ever experienced.

    1. Kaytranada
    2. Jungle
    3. St. Vincent
    4. Swans
    5. AC/DC

I'll add some context and honorable mentions later. Might also switch it up a bit once I take a look at the set times.

Regardless I saw some ridiculous shit. Jungle absolutely blew my entire face off. I thought I wasn't going to see anything better for the rest of the weekend. Until I left the terrible Drake set and walked over to Kaytranada. This fucking guy......... Biggest dance party of the entire weekend, the most appreciative I've ever seen a crowd, and quite possibly the best Coachella closer I've ever seen. Without a full album out, this guy played for over an hour without ever giving up a single bit of quality. He's technical and creative with his mixes and rocked the crowd to the brink of insanity. I fully look forward to seeing him back on the fields in a few years time to a packed tent in a prime time.

Loved this weekend, can't wait to do it all again in a few days. I will definitely see some of these top 5's everyone's mentioning. I already am planning on catching nearly everything I missed that I wanted to see.

Ratatat though? How can a top 5 act be nearly 30 minutes late? And from what I did see... same old same old.

Jungle on the other hand... that was a fucking set for the ages.

Good to know about Kaytranada. I looked him up and dug it and was considering this vs J.E.S.S. and Bonobo. But now I might have to make it apriority. Especially since you appreciate Jungle and St.Vincent.

HM: Drive Like Jehu, Todd Terje, St. Vincent, Ride, Cloud Nothings, MØ, and I'm sure there are some I'm forgetting.

edit: It should also be said that this was the least crowded I've ever felt it be at Coachella. A few sets I saw filled up the tents but it never felt like we were packed too tightly. Plenty of room to dance and move around in almost every single set I was at. Honestly, the beer barn was more packed than most of the sets that I went to.
