I predict it won't be a performance.
I believe it will. they already did the MTV non performance but appearance thing. I am fairly certain it was described as DP's first live performance since 2008, So i believe they will in fact perform...But will it be cool? I hope.
Daft will perform but they will not be considered "cool"
Daft Punk, Stevie Wonders, Pharrell, Nile Rodgers, Omar Hakim
Daft Punk with Stevie Wonder. I am pretty pumped on this
im just thinking and hoping out loud right now but just think really think about it....daft punk teases us with "get lucky" trailer at Coachella...album comes out in may....no live performances till the grammys on the 26th...could they actually be the third headliner...just think about it if they are the grammys will be the most watched grammys in sometime!!
the governors ball promoters did an AMA on reddit yesterday, and had this exchange:
Were there any serious inquiries into getting Daft Punk? If so, what was their official response?
For sure. Last summer, they said no dates in 2014. A month or so ago..it was 'not looking at dates till after the grammy's." they're cool though. much love to them. -JW
Exactly! Unless you have useful information like where/when they're playing this year (late night set @ Bonnaroo), stop posting! We already know they're touring this year...
ps I'll be waiting when people complain about how much new material they'll be playing on this tour and how 2006/2007 shows were 100x better
This is probably nothing, but who are the guys sitting next to The Robots?
There are much more recent photos of both of them out there, and I think he may have actually been on to something.
EDIT: malc you post so quickly
