Granted, heavy bands are a rare occurance at Coachella so I tried to make the choices realistic by keeping it to bands that may somehow fit the vibe of Coachella. What heavy band would you rather see?
Mastodon
Dir en Grey
Rammstein
KMFDM
Fucked Up
Mindless Self Indulgence
Dillinger Escape Plan
System of a Down
Isis

I would've picked Isis, but how can I when I've never seen System either? System first, and every Coachella after that I'll say Isis.

SOAD would tear up the desert more than rage did. CHOP SUEY! Mr. Jack! IEEIIOOO
Upcoming Shows:
Sasquatch Festival
I've always pictured dir en grey playing coachella
Dear God. Rammstein? Really? Anyone who'd willingly line up to see those disgusting, talentless krauts chase each other around with with their rubber penises flopping out of their pants and squirting fake semen into the crowd certainly deserve a load in the eye. Y'all are the reason heavy music has a bad name these days. Mastadon or Fucked Up - all the way.
nobody's mentioned
m.s.i.
they put on an amazing live show
nonstop 90 minutes
they have great fans.
techno kid, rockers, violent ppl, indie losers (me),
i would put them a close 2nd below s.o.a.d.
#18 =D and SYSTEM OF A DOWN baby!!!
"I wonder how many people in this city live in furnished rooms. Late at night when i look out at the buildings I swear I see a face in every window looking back at me and when I turn away I wonder how many go back to their desks and write this down...."
-Leonard Cohen
Out of these, KMFDM, because it's danceable, and they have a sense of humor. If an average Coachella kid who had never heard of them was camped out at their stage waiting for someone else, they would still have a good time.
Rammstein would have too much backlash, even though they are probably the best option.
I like Mastodon, but I don't understand how they keep getting booked for these kind of things. They seemed really out of place at Vegoose.
Opeth and Between the Burried and Me
Dillinger Escape Plan has one of the best live shows i've seen.
never listened to fucked up...
how are they and what style do they play?
i refuse to vote . what a shitty fucking list.. half those bands are pussy bands....... no way you put heavy in their bio asshole
I'd say Boris or Melvins before any of these bands
