Definitely want to catch that Savages afterparty if at all possible. On sale Friday at noon, have to remember to set an alarm. I'm thinking it'll sell out fast.

Yeah, R Kelly vs TNGHT is my worst conflict. Gotta go with R since I missed him at Roo though.
Auction it off or give it to me. Itll go nicely with my media credentials.
There is a Ken Mode pre and after party. The pre is with Inter Arma @ Township on the 19th, and I highly recommend this show. The after show is with Pissed Jean @ Reggie's on the 20th.
DREAM BIGGER
If you can keep up, sound fair?
Even when people give him cool shit and are nice he is still awful.

My friend who's been on the road with Savages told me last week.
That would be cool
Will there be a live stream this year?
This ain't no middle of the mall shit.
A day has already come and gone with no stream, so...
In other news, Bjork cut short due to storms (20 mins or so short). She is now DJ'ing at Lincoln Hall as a surprise guest at the Savages aftershow.
Bjork, wow. What a set. Army of Me being the MASSIVE highlight with lightning going off all over, it was quite a sight to behold!
Made it in to Savages aftershow too, pretending you bought tix and acting like you dont know why youre not on the willcall list worked like a charm!

Had a really great time this weekend. Ate some great food, hung out with some good people.
My top 5:
1. Swans - I should never have doubted Gira and co.'s ability to deliver an hour long set outside with the sun out. Had a big, stupid grin on my face at times, I was like a mad scientist watching his monster come to life. The first song they played was 19 minutes!
2. Pissed Jeans - Matt Korvette is a great frontman, best stage banter of the weekend (second place goes to El-P/Killer Mike).
3. R. Kelly - I'm not really a fan of his (contemporary R&B doesn't do it for me), but his set was entertaining as hell.
4. Bjork - Sucked that the set got cut short, but I was quite impressed. Her voice was a powerhouse.
5. Belle and Sebastian - Just a fun set, it was great dancing in the rain to 'The Boy With the Arab Strap.'
HMs: El-P/Killer Mike/Run the Jewels, METZ, Wire, M.I.A.'s stage setup, Joanna Newsom doing a great job despite me not being a fan
We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.
