We can count on Phoenix being at OL. They would NOT be playing The Independent unless they had a reason. Otherwise, it'd be somewhere like the Fox or the Bill Graham even. Also, The Independent is a 21+ venue.
Considering their SF Indy show sold out in under a minute, I don't feel it diluted the overall demand for a separate appearance later this year.
possible headliners: Paul McCartney - Atoms for Peace - Nine Inch Nails
re re retard
so you think it will be paul mccartney nin and phoenix?
6/24 deltron 3030 slim's

I get that Phoenix is "that" band to book this year as a headliner, but I really don't see why OSL would want to book them again in practically the same slot as they did in 2010. It's kind of upsetting, actually.
And all bullshit aside, I think Daft Punk is completely fair game. One of their last shows was promoted by APE at the Greek, and the extra 10,000 tickets would definitely help with the cost.
The Cure/Paul McCartney/Daft Punk as headliners would be the lineup of the year.
Daft Punk is not touring. Get over it you dim fucks.
Nobody is going to let go of Daft Punk until they show up! lol
The same for Coachella. They will be rumored to play every year until they actually play.. one of these days...
to add to that, do people really think gv owns daft punk? they don't owe coachella exclusive "first show" rights.
April 24 - Queens of the Stone Age
April 26-28 - Levitation
I am going try to make it out for this festival this year and I was wondering ...should I buy an early beaver ticket or just plan on sneaking in??? I have heard it very easy to sneak in and was just curious?
bah!!! Ill just stick to getting an early beaver ticket.
hey getbetter, don't be a twat. you think anyone wants to hear about your plan to rip off the promoters, the artists and the paying attendees by sneaking in? do your friends tell you how cool it is to stand outside the fence and act like they are part of the festival most of the day while waiting for their moment to cheat? sounds epic.
planning a trip somewhere with the sole intent to steal sounds like a f*cking pathetic idea to me.
NIN would probably be a deciding factor to get me there.
Yeah, one of the reasons I'm less inclined to go to OSL is that it's already over sold and crowded in addition to the dicks who sneak in.
4/15: Tama Sumo @ Seattle

4/27-30: Stagecoach
5/16: Mount Kimbie @ Neumo's

Osl is one of the worst festivals . I love paying hundreds to watch low quality soundsystems from miles always as I hold my pee in
