Question for anyone that's been (anyone besides BritChris?)...is there enough time during the day to explore the city and go on a couple excursions (blue lagoon!) during the festival or should I just add a couple days to the trip?
I booked a studio apartment from Nov. 1-7 for around $700. Right in time, too, since everything seems obscenely expensive now except for the travel packages that include hotel.
The Blue Lagoon is about 20 - 25 minutes outside of Reykjavik. You can pretty much do all of Reykjavik in one day, it's a nice city to walk around in. They have a few museums, but I didn't go in any of them.
We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.
