Man, I'm only a few songs into Internal Wrangler by Clinic and it's fucking outstanding. Line-up research is fun.
Man I would love to see Roky Erickson added to this thing. Gribbz, have you bought your ticket?

Good to hear. They're next on my list...
EDIT* Are the Black Angels recording a new album? I saw a picture a couple of months ago of them in the studio but I haven't found any related articles...
I would really love to be able to go to this...finances are an issue though. That being said, if they were to somehow land a Raccoo-oo-oon reunion, I'd sell a fucking kidney to get there.

Unfortunately, no. I'm 90% sure I'm going to Coachella anyway, and two fests in the same month would be really hard to pull off.
It's awesome you're branching out this year, Gribbz. So many great fests in this country, I'd like to go to both this one and Moog Fest someday (especially now that ATP's jumped the shark).

Not that it matters that much whether they're there or not, but I'll be damned if Wooden Shjips isn't the neglected stepchild of psych rock. Every single song I've ever heard of theirs is absolutely on point, they deserve so much more recognition than they get.

Wooden Shjips would be amazing. I just bought my ticket, I am really looking forward to this. I am hoping for the same type of ATP vibe, I realized I have little to no desire to attend big festivals anymore, so I hope Coachella doesn't get a really great lineup again.

Yep yep. Dude can do no wrong. I'm not sure how active he's been in the live setting recently, aside from performing with Panda Bear on a few occasions last year.
I haven't been to Coachella since '10, but I have a very strong feeling that next year's lineup is going to be the best in years.

GvB are having a pass giveaway.
I miss talking to TomAz.
We all do. I live in the same city as him (unless he relocated) and rumor has it that at 3:15am if you listen closely and its really really quiet you can hear him telling you to go fuck yourself.

Alright, time to go quote-crazy up in this bitch:
When they start up the organ at the beginning of "Walking with Thee", look out for me - I'll be the dude in the crowd going completely insane.
That would be fantastic, here's hoping.
They did play last year, and while bands tend to not be in repeat APFs, I wouldn't put this past 'em. We might even see Moon Duo back again.
Heck yes! Well done, you two.
I've been curious about this as well, can't really find a good number out there, as far as "events" go. Sure, they have the space, but it almost seems like it won't be the entire ranch that's booked for the fest.
Last year I didn't book my trip flying into AUS until about 3 weeks in advance of the show, and it was about $150 cheaper than if I booked my flight months in advance when I bought my pass. Set up one of those 'price alerts' on Kayak.com or something and get yourself a deal.
Most post-rock acts don't have elements that I would really call psychedelic...

If These Trees Could Talk or pg. Lost would be really awesome post rock additions.
Also, Boris doing Feedbacker would be so perfect for this fest.

9/14/16 - Wilco @ Theatre at Ace Hotel // 9/18/16 - Kraftwerk @ Hollywood Bowl
I am assuming Boris is going to do Feedbacker or some other album that is more psych in its entirety. I know most people pan it off, but them doing Rainbow would be an amazing fit for this festival. Also, if MBV wind up on this I am gonna lose my shit
