Imagine Dragons? I keep seeing their name show up everywhere. They just sold out Roseland here. Who are they? Klein's next favorite band?
Tickets are only $100, I'll probably be attending.

Imagine Dragons are presently situated at the forefront of what I like to call silent-majority rock. If you follow pop music exclusively via the Internet, you may have little or no idea who these guys are; if you glean your knowledge of contemporary jams primarily via the radio and/or ads for prestige-averse major-network dramas and/or video-game sound tracks, you probably know that Imagine Dragons ranks among our most successful bands at the moment.
Is this suposed to go down on Fremont Street? The Killers alone sold out Mandalay Bay the last time around not to mention the crowd for KOL will draw. You wouldnt even be able to move and it would be a pickpockets dream come true.
I don't know, music (Killers, Kings of Leon, etc.), celebrity chefs, cirque du soliel performers, Fremont Street, when you put it all together it sounds like a state fair for douche bags.
The line up is decent but it doesn't make me want to buy a ticket right now.
Edit:
Just how Ryan Seacrest is associate with I Heart Radio Fest, they should get Guy Fieri to host this.

zeddzzz addedzz thiszz linez upz rulezzz
If this is indeed going on downtown then it must be at Cashman's field. Unless they plan on shutting down some streets and having a few stagelines. Again Freemont Street is way to small for acts of this size. Its also a public place with hotels and business so securing it for festival attendance & entry would be next to impossible.

>The festival, on Oct. 26 and 27, will encompass 15 blocks of Downtown Las Vegas, which will be fenced in with entryways for those with tickets in the area of Carson Avenue and 6th and 7th streets.
>There will be two large stages, one near 6th/7th streets and Stewart Avenue and the other north of Fremont Street at 9th and 10th streets. Three smaller stages also will be positioned throughout the grounds.
Not the best lineup in the world, but since it's in my backyard, I will go. Just got tickets yesterday. Haven't been able to go to festivals/concerts lately out of state so I am pretty excited about this.
The end of October is perfect weather for a festival in Vegas and I miss Vegoose so this will have to do.
I have seen many big shows downtown and this will be organized very well methinks.
I would go cept I will be on my way to VooDoo. Maybe I should crank up my Vegoose board again lolz....cr****
Have Another Hit Of Colorado Sunshine
Apparently all of the culinary events are all separate admissions. Wow this is a crap festival.
They added a bunch of bands...
Twelve additional bands will be announced today for the debut Life Is Beautiful festival in Las Vegas taking place October 26th & 27th; Vampire Weekend, Janelle Monae, Alabama Shakes, Cults, Joey Bada$$, Smith Westerns, Nico Vega, The Dig and Dreamers. In addition, LIB and Red Bull Sound Select collaborated to curate a group of emerging artists on the Sound Select platform, including Wildcat! Wildcat!, Chancellor Warhol, the Kingston Springs, Children of the Night, and Tink.
I'd want to go to this for Vegoose nostalgia purposes, but not this year. I'll wait and see how it goes over first. maybe next year (if it's still around).
damn, I miss Vegoose.

Oh snap, Vampire Weekend! I might have to go now. Otherwise I think the lineup totally blows.
fuckin' with the lights on
I miss Vegoose so much! I went all 3 years, I also loved the after shows. One of the greatest was when Maceo Parker played and Prince showed up as his special guest at the House of Blues!
I guess there's a "huge announcement" tomorrow morning.

Pretty stoked about VW and Alabama Shakes being added, looking forward to Capital Cities too.
The big announcement was the interactive art line up.
