Schedule came out. God, they keep getting worse and worse with giving acts time. Even the big names. I am guessing curfew is 11pm each night, so the headliners get an hour tops.

You don't have to lie to kick it, bro.
I don't know. I think he's less cool for going to the kroq
There's no way Fun gets 45 minutes.. so at least you'll get a surprise. Chances of that surprise being something good is slim.
How do the half hour sets work? does the Gibson have on of those rotating stages where one band plays while another sets up behind stage?
yes there are 2 stages that instantly rotate. The down time is less than 30 seconds
Remember Coachella main stage in 2011...
I would take a rotating stage over that^^

what happened to the guy who said there would definitely not be any surprises? probably deleted that post after there was a surprise on both nights.
No Doubt was a great surprise. I said this in the other thread and I'll say it here to. Gwen Stefani is a definite MILF.
I'm glad I was able to get a last minute UNDER face value ticket. No Doubt still puts on a great show and yeah, Gwen's abs are a national treasure. I'd hate her if she wasn't so generally awesome.
M83 was fantastic. Makes me kick myself harder for missing their set at Coachella. I will for sure see them the next time they tour the states. Jack White was also great. Setlist was not what I'd have expected for a radio show, but I loved it.
M83 was the best set of the night. Fun. was a lot of fun as well. Jack White was so fucking loud, my ears bleed out happiness. Fuck the Killers, I went and got subway.
I expected No Doubt would show up. I have no interest seeing them play a full show, but half a set would do the job for me The Killers only got 10 songs in according to setlist, ouch.
Drewski27 u must really hate The Killers
I stayed for like 1 or 2 of their songs and started to fall asleep. I did smoke a large spliff outside right after M83, and enjoyed everything else. The Killers are just not a band I can get behind. To be fair, I was pretty thrashed by the end of the night and listening to the Killers was not as high on my list as getting Subway was.
It was getting really late by the time the Killers went on, some bands went a bit over and then there were sound issues during Of Monsters and Men which caused another short delay. If only there were sound issues during Alex Clare or Neon Trees. The Killers were pretty damn good. Brandon still sounds great. The Fonda show was better for me, but that's just because of how close I was.
My favorite sets were M83, Jack White, No Doubt and the Killers.
Alex Clare looks like Zach Galifinakis doing dubstep rock. Well, not totally dubstepy, but maybe just that song... whatever. I was slightly amused.
Alex Clare nearly put me to sleep. It wasn't bad, it was just meh.
Honestly that Fonda show seems unbeatable.
I bet the crowd only reacted to "Too Close" during the Alex Clare set
AND IT FEELS. LIKE. I. AM. JUST. TOO. CLUSE TO LUB YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Apparently they are announcing night 1 Monday and it sounds like it's going to be at the Shrine.
I have a feeling one of the nights is going to be awesome and completely worth going to.
Well I know Kings of Leon are one of the bands playing Acoustic. Didn't NSSN already announce their lineup?
