    Metro question:

If I'm taking the Metro from the Western & Hollywood Blvd. stop, how do I get to the festival? I'm horrible with navigating LA public transportation.

Not attending the fest, but I will be at Wurstkuche to the best of my abilities. Looking forward to it (even though I'm sure most of you aren't).

Take the Red line to Union Station, then just walk from Union to the site.

Thank you! What a nice surprise to come home today and find out you're going to be there this weekend.

We'd better slow dance as FLAG plays Rise Above.

It's slowly dawning on me that I get to see FLAG. Fuck yes.

Hahahaha, what does it say about me that when I saw you're going the first thing I thought of was potential slow dance songs?

We've decided to take the bike up instead of the car, so we figure we should be able to squeeze it in somewhere on the street around the venue and forget about public transit. What streets around the park have free parking, and what time do those streets usually fill up?

There will be bike parking directly across the street from the festival, per their webpage.

I emailed back about the beer, asking if they would have an IPA from Golden Road or elsewhere and the reply said don't know but would pass my request on to the food/beverage people...

I'm assuming they're referring to bicycles. I need to know about street parking for the motorcycle.

HTD - most of the streets immediately around the park are free, but in my experience parking around there is HOOOOOORRIBLE. But I haven't tried to park a bike.

You shouldn't have too much of an issue. There is quite a bit of street parking around there if you get to the venue early enough.

Trying to get there for the Saturday pre-game love fest to represent the East Coast. All depends on Friday's success in getting number one son moved in with bed delivery, etc.

Andrew, what's the Sunday plan in case i get jammed up Saturday?

Not 100% sure yet. Thinking of doing something lower key at a place that doesn't accommodate as huge a crowd as Wurst. Def keep in touch and we'll hang out for sure!

What's the word on Washed Out in a live setting? Haven't seen him yet, debating whether I should skip out on Beach House (who I have seen and liked) to see all of Washed Out's set.

Ironfire brewery makes a imperial porter with avocado honey which give this great silk texture to the beer hopefully this beer has the same texture....I have to say though cilantro doesnt taste well in beer as it does in food.

Washed Out is amazing live. Full live band, really impressive. Haven't seen the new material yet, but when I saw them last year I was totally floored.

The only time I saw Washed Out live, opening for Cut Copy at the Palladium a few years ago, they sounded awful. But I think it was just the venue, because Cut Copy mostly sounded like balls as well.

Any IPA would be just fine. Chances are they already have their beer locked in though. I hope to be surprised.

Yeah, if they are only carrying InBev beers they might have Long Hammer IPA, which I would drink over the other options they listed.
