In the future, every festival will be held every week.
2013 = Coverchella
2011 = Perfectchella
hoping edc doesnt do the same, it sounds like the lineups will be different
This is comical. Curious if they announce anything lineup related before Wednesday. Buying a ticket blind on a lineup sucks as it is. But arbitrarily choosing a weekend that doesn't have a favorite or two would be dreadful. especially if you are traveling any significant distance.
I wonder how different the two lineups will be?
I would think that they would have the same headliners both weekends
Not many edm acts will sit in miami for a whole week with the exclusivity contracts they force.
"How long will this last, this delicious feeling of being alive, of having penetrated the veil which hides beauty and the wonders of celestial vistas? It doesn't matter, as there can be nothing but gratitude for even a glimpse of what exists for those who can become open to it."
My friend posted this on FB earlier. I don't think it's real but here ya go.

People on their fb page are pissed and I can't really blame them
They essentially are going to have to just take a blind guess regarding which weekend will have the better lineup
Diff line ups. And theres gonna be. A 2 weekend ticket, hahaha. Thats prob triple the price, haha

The Cure under Tiesto
DREAM BIGGER
They force you, along with the extra money. Its a shame because they could actually make that region of the country a bit better off economically by letting some of the dj's and bands perform in other cities before, in between and after. GV worked it to a T this year with spreading everyone out around the 2 weekends and tons of people got to see acts they like perform solo.
Along with The Cure? Yeah, very legit....
i guess this makes sense then...via their press release
"Following a recent study commissioned by ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL and carried out by the Washington Economics Group, which revealed the extent to which the festival boosts the city’s yearly economy, news of the double header weekend won’t solely be music to the ears of electronica fans. In fact, in 2012 alone, the three-day event injected upward of $40 million directly into the Miami-Dale economy ($79 million if factoring in indirect and induced spending)"
compare that to EDC's impact...
