Bowie...![]()
If Bowie plays, but he wears the same outfit he walks around the city in, would anyone feel let down?

I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. . . . corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.
PSY 2013
I'd like to pontificate on Justin Timberlake as headliner for a bit:
I think when you look at his solo material, his sensibilities are competent/edgy enough to make him a legitimate Coachella act on the merit of his music. Yes, he's pop, but (especially his 2nd album/Timbaland work) is interesting/challenging enough to the point that having him headline isn't the same as having [insert wholly generic top 40 act here].
Where I struggle with the idea is what I imagine his live performance is like. I feel like I've seen snippets of his concerts (was there an HBO special?) and there were a lot of cliches and choreography designed to get teenage girls shrieking. THAT'S what I'm not sure would fly at Coachella. I think the most comparable act would be Usher, and I don't particularly see him being a great fit, either.
I'm MJA, and I approve this post.
Every time this site takes more than .005 seconds to load I get excited that the board might be down.... then Boom! defeated again. My psyche cannot take much more of this.
So are the headliners Blur, Phoenix, and blank (who knows)? Or do you think it's Blur - (some EDM act), Phoenix, and who knows? Blur and Phoenix are pretty weak but they are cheap Also - no way the knife is playing, right? They would never pay to fly them to and from Europe.

"why are you so annoying" TheKlein25
I don't think it will be mind up.
I think the only way they can get away with Pheonix in a heading position is with a bloody strong sub. And it's fairly clear you'd think that Nick Cave and Blur won't headline so why it's thought another band there on the top line will too.
