I love how their chins are resting on Elton's shoulders
One potential headliner not discussed is Prince and his new rock trio that's been dropping videos on youtube and has rumoured upcoming tour dates. Coachella would make since after milking LA dry in the spring of 2011 at the Forum.
A note about the lineup release: GV said "see you in January" when the advance passes sold out. So if we don't hear by Tuesday, something must really be up.
The Gorge is such a crap venue. One if the worst places to see a concert as far as acoustics go.
"But omg its so pretty!!!" - sure, but I'm not about to drive 4 hours to hear music bleed out and then reverberate back into itself.
This all being said I hope to catch some Sasquatch this year. I'll just buy a day pass to whoever I want to see though. I can't handle staying there.
It has been an actual conversation many times haha. I can't tell you how many times I get the "but its SO beautiful" response when I mention I don't like that place to people.
The sound at the Paradiso festival in June was by far the loudest and clearest I've ever heard at the Gorge. It is typically disappointing, though. Unless you are right down by the stage.
6/26 Sunflower Bean @ Constellation Room, 7/3 Telecaves @ Non Plus Ultra, 7/7 Mitski @ The Echo, 7/22 Weird Al @ Hollywood Bowl, 7/28 Tokimonsta @ Hammer Museum, 8/3 Marissa Nadler @ The Echo, 8/4 Radiohead @ Shrine Auditorium, 8/7 Sufjan Stevens @ Hollywood Bowl, 8/27-28 FYF Fest, 9/24 Music Tastes Good, 9/25 Lush @ Fonda
Really? Maybe they got a new system? I should of gone to Paradiso last year, but it was right after I got back from going to Bonnaroo and I didn't think I would last.
Edit: really!?! No day passes? Did they announce that somewhere. That's very upsetting. Looks like I won't be going.
