All joking and trolling aside, whether you like him or not, anyone who can't admit that Justin Timberlake has a ridiculous amount of talent is a dimwit.
I'd rather see Timberlake over the following acts that have headlined Coachella:
The Killers
Jack Johnson
Kings Of Leon
Coldplay
Oasis
RHCP
I would even throw Bjork and Rage in there but some of you goons would lose your minds.
From Billboard
Certainly looking possible. Album done. Countdown to Sunday at midnight. He certainly has enough time to rehearse and prepare to get a stage show ready by April. And not just a song, but a full album produced by longtime collaborator Timbaland. Timberlake is believed to have around 20 new tracks recorded. A source familiar with the project confirms to Billboard that Timberlake is definitely releasing a new album more sooner than later.
Door is opening wider for JT
He had me out of my seat for close to 2 hours when we saw him. Guess who else I saw that night walking the corridors? Paul Tollett.
I actually agree with u. Yes JT is pop but that is not reason alone to hate on an artist. Better than 99% of the other pop shit out there today.
Geez, I'm going to have to listen to pop music.
I miss talking to TomAz.
We all do. I live in the same city as him (unless he relocated) and rumor has it that at 3:15am if you listen closely and its really really quiet you can hear him telling you to go fuck yourself.
I'm gonna take it as a sign that JT has brought people together in this thread when nothing could.
The 'Justin Timberlake 2013' is the most agreeable and collectively positive thread on this entire board.
Justin Timberlake is one of the most talented artists in Pop music today, and I would not be opposed to him headlining Coachella.
Not trolling, not fucking around, that is my actual opinion.
With that said, I probably wouldn't check out his set because more than likely there would be someone else I would rather see at the time slot.

Talib Kweli is back in the mix of rumors? Would like to hear "Get By" Live
On a serious note regarding urban performers. Charles Bradley just posted on facebook that his new album is due early April with tour dates to follow! I love this news and hope he is there.
Coachella should drop the Hip Hip headliner.............![]()
JT's solo albums -- especially the second -- were truly progressive, ambitious pop music made with some of the finest collaborators on the planet. It wasn't and isn't my favorite type of music to listen to, but it is incredibly foolish to conflate what he was doing as a mature artist with what he was involved in as a sixteen year old. And yes, he would be a much better headliner than many other popular alternatives, past or future.
It's almost as if some visionary board member created a thread a while ago discussing why Justin Timberlake would make a respectable, deserving headliner.
4/15: Tama Sumo @ Seattle
4/25: Rolling Coastal Blackout Fever, Sloucher @ The Crocodile
4/27-30: Stagecoach
5/16: Mount Kimbie @ Neumo's
5/25-27: Sasquatch
JT live is fucking incredible. I would welcome this very much if he headlined a night.
