So awesome! It's been a year since I saw the WTT tour and shook Kanye's hand, wish I could have seen him in 2012! I'm excited for him to become a father and what kind of new chapters that opens for his career.
I regret not going to 4 shows this year: Kraftwerk retrospective, one of those Kanye shows, one of the Jay Z Barclays shows, and Sensation America. All on the East Coast
The Jay-Z Barclays shows were okay.
Nothing super special other than it being in Brooklyn, but it doesn't even hold a candle to the Yankee Stadium home&home shows with Eminem.
I responded with the tour dates after this from Bumblebee. Nathanfairchild didn't even know Blur existed in 2003 so he can go rambling on about whatever!
Blur didn't technically exist in the United States in 2003. Song 2 was released in 1997. A year later they vanished forever.... until the Blurillaz came around to remind people that Albarn had not in fact been permenantly sucked into the void that is known as the UK. (I realize that Blur released an album in 2003.... but where was it? I can't recall hearing anything about it's grand reputation. Admitting that I'm not a hipster when I reveal that?)
On a side note, it's pretty clear that many of the boardies with thousands of posts have some mild forms of autism that they're trying desperately to hide from the rest of us. I wonder how it feels to be such an ugly person that you have to attack people who put themselves out there in order to make it seem as if you've accomplished anything at all. Maybe some day I'll burn up enough brain cells to share their POV. Until then...
