I was in the beer garden last year, and I heard some guy talking to an EMT saying he might have used sunscreen from a stranger that contained LSD in it....lol, and the guy was freaking out asking the EMT what was about to happen to him. I can only assume that was not possible and the guy was being a pussy.

Yes and there were rumors they were working on a new album months ago. They debuted a new song over the summer.
By "rumors" you mean multiple explicit statements by members of the band over a period longer than a year? They'll have something new in '13, when they already have 6 shows booked and more to come around Coachella time, but there's nothing as gauche as a release date yet.
(Sorry for knowing how to use the internet)

I think the people who sent their last record to #1 might care.
It's rather clear Vigo is playing a role, albeit poorly. The other two haven't yet discovered twitter, so they don't know they can say 'I just took a shit, but I feel guilty about it' and only their mom and baby cousin will be subject to their senseless ramblings.
I really hope on sunday night they do something similar with the sahara/main stage like they did this year.. putting a really fucking shitty dj in the sahara while who ever closes out the festival can do it with all the e-tards in the sahara.. i think it would kinda suck if boys noize and richie hawtin play sunday night against the rolling stones. Would rather them play against deadmau5 and YYYs and benny bennasi can play against the stones. Also who would play in the sahara against daft punk? seems hard to put an electronic act against them.

I prefer having beer gardens. It keeps people from spilling beer on me when I am watching a show at any given stage / tent and it keeps a good amount of trash from scattering across the rest of the Polo Fields. I hope they never get rid of them.
This is easily the weakest attempt at defending beer gardens. If you throw a pile of shit on top of a pile of shit, it's still just a pile of shit.
