RHCP won't be there. A year too late. Coldplay is done playing shows in the U.S. I'm pretty sure. Killers on Wed night. So I'd be happy but in a bitter way. Pearl Jam, Muse, Soundgarden subheadliner, and some rap dude OR DAFT PUNK that's what it should be

I too thought they were a lock last year. I'm convinced (or I convinced myself) they could'nt make it due to their introdction in the RnR HOF which fell on the dates of Coachella.

Is that any harder than Gotye doing SNL and Coachella the same weekend?

Lots of acts do some variation of Lolla, Osheaga and RocKansas the same weekend.

Pavement even attempted Primavera and Sasquatch the same weekend, which included a Spain to Seattle flight.

I think there should be a decent amount of cross over with Coachella since the festival is just a week before Weekend one. Would love to see Queens Of The Stone Age, Franz, Hot Chip, Passion Pit, TDCC, Nas, Foals and Crystal Castles on the Coachella poster.

Also I think it's very likely that the Mau5 makes his return to the polo fields next year. I could see him closing the main stage after the Friday night headliner.
