It's Snoop Dogg not Snoop Lion and he played last year as one of the top names.. None of u knew this?!?
Although I don't think he will be on the bill I do think he will have a guest appearance during Major Lazer's Saturday night Sahara set during Weekend 1.
1/13 - Joris Voorn - Sound
1/14 - Purity Ring - Exchange
1/21 - Tiga - Sound
1/25 - Barclay Crenshaw - Low End Theory
2/18 - Soulquarius Festival - Observatory
I'm more down than fuck. If they book Major Lazer and Snoop Lion and Diplo (lol) then I bet we'd get 3 Diplo sets feat. snoop. Dyyyopeee.
(i'd trust diplo with all 3 days of the sahara if it was up to me though, so there's that)

I figured this would be a project that never really finds form, but in a Reddit AMA, he said the Lion album will be out in the Spring. He also said Coachella is the craziest gig he's ever played. I consider this a likely appearance, probably on the main just before the Sunset slot, like Nas & Damien Marley.
That AMA was pretty good. I lol'd a few times.
I doubt Coachella would have him back so soon, but it is a possibility. I think Hangout and Roo are more likely to go after him.
When this album drops Coachella better hope they booked him, its going to be off the hook. That little trailer was the shizzle

haters are welcome to hate, but all of Snoop Lion's songs are great. Hope to see him (and Diplo) on the polo fields.
DRUGS ON KIDS
Well over 60 years of reggae to listen to with the same similar beats, just different MCs, so much better music out there than Snoop MCing over classic reggae beats
Seriously mi lion
Edit:
I've listened to the song twice, its a flavor of the club song for about 4 months, but when you listen to it, you can barely hear snoop in his own verse, the backup vocalist was blowing over snoops verse. He's barely vocal on the chorus.
Listen to Buju Banton or Cutty Ranks if you want something real ya batti boy

"Haters gonna hate" might be the most vomit inducing sentence this year.

I feel you, but what Diplo brings production wise changes Snoop Lion's sound somewhat. For example the drums on Here Come the King have the heft and weight of Diplos heaviest electronic production, but with the rhythm and groove of reggae. I am relatively uneducated about modern reggae music, but I know that few can produce drums like Diplo.
Furthermore, and perhaps more importantly, "real" reggae is not very likely to be booked at Coachella this year.
Point taken though, I should listen to more modern reggae.
