yeah bro
...been listening to Killer Mike all day, like a boss.
fuckin' with the lights on
Sahara had Orbital and Plastikman that year and the tent was half full, even with 20,000 sneak-ins.
The tent was pretty crowded during Infected Mushroom. And as soon as they were done, nearly 2/3 of the crowd left, and Orbital and Plastikman played for some very small crowds.
The one in the middle
Love the new website http://www.budlightportparadise.com/
nah Orbital played from like 9-10 in the Sahara, and then Plastikman did 1030-1130. The only light production used in Richie's set was the cage that went around him from what I recall.
you're right, Ivy, that's why the other lights weren't used. it was just that cage.
and it was so awesome.
Dude sounds like Ice Cube and we all know that Ice Cube is a Boss. What are the chances that Killer Mike's shows are as hyped as Cube's? Cube has to be one of the best, live hip-hop, shows that I've seen. On first listen, I'll give this album a 7/10. I need to get this on a legit system before I can give my official rating. The stand out tracks are, "Big Beast", "Go!", "Regean", and "RAP Music". I need to dl the album so that I can bump this shit in my truck, bro. Supre, or anyone, have you given it a spin yet?

I assumed that Pulp would do two sets in the theater and everyone gets into one, but I just read that the theater capacity is 1115, and there will be over 2800 passengers. Hmmm.
has Killer Mike always been this popular? I feel like I've seen his name alot lately.
I remember listening to "Akshon (yeah!)" alot about 8 years ago, I was addicted to that song for a while.
BRUTAL Line-Up! As others have said...I am sooooooo over Coachella and their consistent money grab. The best part will be PULP singing "Common People"
Yea it was pretty obvious Nick. 2010 was fucking madness, and not just the traffic on Friday. Walking from stage to stage was a nightmare, more crowded than any other festival I've ever been to.
and 2011/2012 STILL had about 15,000 more people than 2009.

8/7/16 - Sufjan Stevens @ Hollywood Bowl // 8/8/16 - Radiohead @ Shrine // 8/8/16 - Boris @ Regent
9/14/16 - Wilco @ Theatre at Ace Hotel // 9/18/16 - Kraftwerk @ Hollywood Bowl
Anyone know whether GV is planning to add to the lineup? I'm hoping for some heavier rock or more hip hop, but really just looking for more diversity.
Are you going?
