Is pronounced "deadmouse" Not deadmau-5 It comes from some computer geek thing where they could only have 8 digits in your name so instead of the full spelling the 5 represents an "s".
Another Mau5 fact- Supposeodly, he calls himself deadmau5 because one time there was a funky smell in the studio and it turned out to be a mouse that got into a computer and got fried...hense, "deadmouse"
PS- he may be a douche, but he's on the cover of rolling stone this month and gets more a$$ than a toilet seat not to mention puts out some of the best electro-house on the scene right now....
