If I recall correctly, they don't finalize the schedule until much later. But you might be able to find where/when some bands are playing by looking at their own tour dates.

!!! is playing on Sept 5th. Just what I was hoping for!
Schedule is up here.
I'm very much looking forward to this. Also planning to try to catch some of the KEXP live broadcasts from Doug Fir during the daytime, and the Hott Summer Nights day party with John Vanderslice, the Love Language, and Surfer Blood.
I'll be at Charles Bradley and Shuggie Otis, Godspeed, Joey Badass, Deerhunter, and Baroness. And probably all of the daytime shows at Doug Fir.
This appears to be free + free booze: https://www.facebook.com/events/164493847077104/
That's a great venue. Recommended.
Four hours of Godspeed can change a person. I'm going to throw fruit at Neko Case and whoever the fuck else is playing tomorrow.
Jesus spoke to me tonight, and he said, "you don't like Pickwick."

Seems pretty foolish to intentionally agitate an articulate dragon by pelting it softly with grapes.
Glad I got to go a couple years when it was at Pioneer Courthouse Square....10,000 on the waterfront will be a significant departure from that.
Yeah. 2013 was my fifth, and it's become something I really look forward to. Here's hoping it gets expanded to a few other venues on other nights anyway.
I actually kind of like this idea, except for the 10,000 person capacity which makes it sound like it will sell out pretty quick if the lineup is good.
I realize the sprawling nature of the fest is something some people like but it always kind of put me off of it. Too many days; too much coordination to try to figure out. Also the situation with wristbands not being a %100 guarantee to even get in to events seemed kind of crappy. I will probably go this year.
Woah random bump.
I agree, as someone coming from out of town, I found MFNW (1) difficult to navigate due to sprawling locations, (2) difficult to attend because not that many people can take 5 or 6 days to go to another city for a music festival, (3) difficult to justify given that even a VIP wristband wasn't a guarantee of getting into a show the way the fest was run.
This rumored new format could potentially be a really good thing, but it could potentially also kill the soul of the fest, so it will be interesting to see what happens.
I'm up for it. Just hope the stages are decent.
There will be a lot fewer bands, but I haven't cared about 90% of the lineup in the past. This way, maybe they'll focus on getting their best acts.
I'd imagine there will also now be non-fest shows put on by all the venues as an unofficial supplement to the lineup, so it could potentially actually end up being MORE bands total.
DAFT PUNK LATE ADDDDDDDDDDDDDDZ
really, really want them to bring Panda Bear back.. very doubtful though
To me, this was a great 'sampler' festival so I could see bands I wouldn't normally or see bands I never heard of (Royal Canoe) while waiting for someone I did want to see (!!!).
Now, with a 10000 attendance in one location, they're forced to go get a big name act to headline that may end up be unappealing.
I'm very skeptical, but am aiming to keep enough of an open mind to add nothing of note to the conversation.
Hi guys,
This sounds pretty good. I think I may need to attend since it is in my backyard .
I m Erica leo, 23 years young. I love creating, listening music, playing dancing and outing with my friend. I love to make new friends. You can help me via purchasing my track here http://www.beatport.com/track/addict...iv-mix/5102866
Please listen my track and I m sure you will love it.
.. anyhow, here's an article that answers some questions. Apparently there will only be 9 acts per day. Hmm...
I saw that, too - I wish I could say I found the article reassuring, but, honestly, no overlap? So every attendee is in the same place at the same time if they're doing anything at all with their ticket. That sounds pretty miserable.
4/15: Tama Sumo @ Seattle
4/25: Rolling Coastal Blackout Fever, Sloucher @ The Crocodile
4/27-30: Stagecoach
5/16: Mount Kimbie @ Neumo's
5/25-27: Sasquatch
Hoping the lineup will drop soon
Some random speculation: Jack White as the headliner, with The Flaming Lips and Beck also being possibilities.
This is a tight year for me budget-wise and this is definitely going to be the cheapest fest for me to attend, hoping for a good lineup
Passengers just announced a Sept 7th Malkin Bowl concert in Vancouver.
Per their Facebook page, looks like they will be dropping lineup hints (presumably this weekend) over Snapchat. Also you can guess who is on the lineup to win a chance at wirstbands.
