Whether all tickets are sold out, or just advanced tickets are sold out, to me, it doesn't matter because I am proud to announce that KROQ KEN IS GOING BOTH WEEKENDS in 2013. MY TWELTH YEAR IN A ROW. See you (lucky 80,000 people) next April!

Frankly I like it that way. I look at the poster and then I don't even digest it all until 2 weeks later. My stomach acids have trouble with jizz.

Yay ken!
I miss talking to TomAz.
We all do. I live in the same city as him (unless he relocated) and rumor has it that at 3:15am if you listen closely and its really really quiet you can hear him telling you to go fuck yourself.
Doubt they sold 172,000 tickets in five hours to a festival which is 11 months away and has no lineup.
Im assuming the 'Advanced Tickets' means they sold out of the allotted presale tickets, and there will still be 10-15000 tickets for sale come January. At least I hope so for my sake.
Upcoming Shows:
Fever Ray: 5/18 @ Metro
Radiohead: 7/07 @ United Center
Smashing Pumpkins: 8/19 @ Xcel Energy Center
Metallica: 9/02 @ Kohl Center
Metallica: 9/04 @ Target Center
Metallica: 9/08 @ Alerus Center
Riot Fest: 9/14-16 @ Douglas Park
Metallica: 10/16 @ Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center
Metallica: 3/09 @ KFC Yum! Center
Tickets will be easy to find the week before the event, regardless of how fast it sells out. That being said, its quite possible next years event will sell out completely during the presale (as is the case with Glastonbury, if I'm correct.)

Congrats GV.
If there are no more tickets left then Eddie Vedder and Paul should issue a formal apology, because scalpers would be fucking stoked.
I would start a complaint thread for sure.
from coachella.com front page...
"The general on sale will happen early next year."
No worries for the people who didn't get tickets. Plenty of people are using the payment plan. When they default Goldenvoice will use those tickets for January sales.
Every year they do the advance ticket sales for 3 days only... and then follow with regular tickets sales 3 or so months before the actual event. Why would anyone expect anything different? The only reason they do the pre-ticket sales is to offer the payment plan option. Not to mention the advance tickets ALWAYS SELL OUT FAST. The amount that will go on sale before the event does not change because of it. The reason they sell out is because there are only a limited avail for the pre-sale.

Wrong.
They have never done the presale for 3 days only. The payment plan is not the only reason they do it because they allow you to pay in full during the presale. And the reason people might expect something different is because this is the first time that both weeks presale has sold out.
