Coachella has snagged Leonard Cohen, Madonna, and Prince in years past. I don't believe any of them are known for doing (m)any festivals. But no, I don't see Elton being a particularly good fit.

If you wanna see Elton then go to Vegas
You may have taken a wrong turn. This board is discussing Coachella. You were looking for this.
Uh, no. "Than" is used in comparative statements, like so:
That chipmunk is smarter than Riggins.
4/15: Tama Sumo @ Seattle
4/25: Rolling Coastal Blackout Fever, Sloucher @ The Crocodile
4/27-30: Stagecoach
5/16: Mount Kimbie @ Neumo's
5/25-27: Sasquatch
No.....idiottt........hes telling him to see Elton John and then go to Las Vegas....Hes trying to tell him to see Elton in Vegas....Girls are stupid!!!!
Oh. I see. You don't understand how "If, then" phrases work either. That's okay.

Awww looks like I won Guedita!!!!
Like in an auction? I didn't know board members were up for prize.
I'm thinking: Mumford & Sons, Little Dragon, and Imagine Dragons.
I'd really like to see Radical Face there, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and Cave Painting.
Not exactly a typical "fit" for Coachella, but what about Rush? They just released a new album, and may still be touring next spring... I've never seen them and doubt I ever will unless it's something like a set at Coachella without any conflicts I care about. They play huge arenas all around the world, but I assume they'd have to sub or even sub-sub headline their day at an event like Coachella.
Anyone a fan of Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs? Just dropped the full album this month. I think they are a definite Coachella fit.
Two Door Cinema Club, anyone? This preview make me hopeful for a good follow-up album...
Agreed on both above posts, ESPECIALLY Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. Absolutely killed at HHM last year and the album is pretty solid to boot.
In other news, The Black Keys are recording ANOTHER album in July...
THE BLACK KEYS
EVERY YEAR
Since we're talking about a lot of repeats in here...
The Presets have FINALLY announced a release date for their new album. Finishing off the entire weekend with them last year was definitely a highlight for me... Would love to see them on the polo fields again... or just in LA a dozen times... whatever...
Some newer bands with new releases I've just discovered that feel like Coachella naturals.
Allo Darlin' - for the Jangle Pop Slot
King Tuff - For the Best Coast/Waves slot
Screaming Females - for the Wild Flag Slot
Lower Dens - For the Cold Cave slot
Miniature Tigers - For the Metronomy/Hot Chip Slot
Royal Headache - For the Suedehead/Vaccines Slot
I'm hoping The Presets will make it for their 3rd time with the new album
Who did they play against their first year?
ummmm my bloody valentine anyone?
i pray to god my search tool worked leading up to this.
Is anyone down to see Delicate Steve? Sounds pretty fuckin good on record, don't know shit about the live set.
Also read great reviews about Big Gigantic live
