RIP. Where The Wild Things Are, In The Night Kitchen and his recent Colbert interviews will live in my heart forever.
I never liked Where the Wild Things Are when I was a kid (I was interested in far weightier matters, such as whether Jack, Kack, Lack, Mack, Nack, Ouack, Pack, and Quack would all safely make it to the Public Garden), but I really appreciate it now as an adult. A real depth of childhood psychology in that book.
