The results so far are absolutely not fucking surprising whatsoever given the discussion that normally happens around here.

Thank you, glad somebody agrees with me and isn't busy trying to be too cool.
I was there on the VIP side. Had to get up so early that day just to see my favorite band but they made it worth it. Only wet my appetite to see them with a full headlining performance on the main stage like they deserve. Look at that crowd in the video. Korn has been around for almost 20 years, longer then most of those kids have probably been alive, and they still were rocking out hard. And that's just from a surprise appearance imagine if they were on the top of the poster from the start.
God the idea of Lush getting back together...
It's been what? 14 years since the drummer killed himself? I think that's long enough that we can say you're not spitting on his grave by getting together with a new drummer.
Years ago, ATP asked Lush to do some shows and the band was interested, but then ATP called back and said they changed their mind because they realized they didn't like the band.
Led Zeppelin, ha
Yes I think I might enjoy that.

I'm closing this poll up tomorrow and moving on to Round 2 so we can get the best 50.
Or....I don't know. Is there a round 2? Maybe the top 50 on the list just get it? Thoughts?
Also...really on the Tom Petty? REALLY?
What other way could we winnow them down to 50? I have a lot of bands that did not make the current top 50.
I miss talking to TomAz.
We all do. I live in the same city as him (unless he relocated) and rumor has it that at 3:15am if you listen closely and its really really quiet you can hear him telling you to go fuck yourself.

The fact that the abortion which is the modern-day incarnation of the Smashing Pumpkins has garnered more votes than Neil, Elvis, or REM is making me a very sad panda.
Morons vote in force, I guess.
I voted once for her.

Right. I'd like to see Tom Petty someday, but it would not go over so well at Coachella. Even 5 years ago, he wouldn't have fit. He just doesn't have the same status as someone like Waters or McCartney.
Some of these acts should have more votes, and when I say that, I don't mean they deserve more votes, just that the numbers seem off.
David Bowie isn't that good live. I think a lot of you would be disappointed.
Are people unaware of the hearing conditions that mean neither of these could ever happen, or do they just not care? I'd love to see The Magnetic Fields someday, don't get me wrong, but that's an ATP or nowhere kind of thing.Oingo Boingo 30.14% 63
