yes, totally worth it. The easy in and out was outstanding. Entrance right off the shuttle lot, could not have been better. basically just walked right in on saturday and sunday. the rose garden vip was great. i will never not do vip from here on out.

Fuck no. GA has air conditioned spots too and you can't get close to the bands with VIP. Only A bands will get you close. I'm never spending 400 for a couch again. ( Done both )

Actually, artist, guest, and production get you close to the stage. Production on the actual stage.

I was fortunate and had a friend that hooked me up with a guest pass so i had front stage access and was able to hang out in the artist section as well as going back behind the stage to get to where I wanted to go. The free water and nicer bathrooms are a definite plus but I think straight VIP passes are not worth it. It seems very crowded back there and I mean there is shade and couches and all that but for what you would pay vs a GA you can get allot of the same things and soMeone mentioned nicer air conditioned bathrooms in the past all I saw back there were porta potties. The food trucks were yummy umami burger is really good and the drinks are great. Also there is no special viewing areas for the VIP you have a side view from the section of the main stage but that's it otherwise you fight the crowds If you can get your hands on a guest pass that's the worth anything extra that you can pay (although technically they are not for sale unless you get a safari tent) other than that if I was paying id go with GA.

Yeah, A bands arent the only ones, learn about all the types of Access. And fuck no, outright VIP isnt worth it. Gotta go higher than that.

VIP isn't really VIP. They are just milking you. The line is an illusion if you have patience.

You can get AC on public places, shades and places to sit too.

i was on the verge of trading my GA for a VIP one since my friend got a VIP. however im not in a hurry to get in on friday. and since i will be spending most of my time in the main area why bother for VIP. maybe ill get it once im a bit older and i can afford 300 more for couch.

I think the festival organizers were actively trolling people for buying VIP wristbands this year: lines to get in via the VIP lot were atrocious. So much slower and less efficient than the GA entrance off the yellow path.

If you can afford it , VIP pass is a must. I love the clean bathrooms with no lines and great food trucks. You can buy alcohol and whatch
bands at the main and safari tent (right next to them) For me water refill and bathroom makes it worth it. never waiting in line.
I say if you can afford it do it.. I never will go GA. I car camp and go Thursday - Monday and spend all day in the venue and the VIP
    pass makes it perfect.

[QUOTE=enter69;3148356]VIP areas can use credit cards at some of the food vendors and at the bars.

    That's a great perk.

you must not have ventured out into GA the last few years... i can't think of any food or bar vendor that doesn't accept card.

Free makeuping and hair in the Powder Room in VIP. that's fun. I should have had them braid my hair because I had this big knot clump of purple/blue this past year. Not a good look.

    I miss talking to TomAz.

We all do. I live in the same city as him (unless he relocated) and rumor has it that at 3:15am if you listen closely and its really really quiet you can hear him telling you to go fuck yourself.
