I'm in the I'm going to weekend 2 and I've hired a Ford Mustang for the time I'm in the States (12th-25th).
Is the car any good?
I like them. The v6 ones have good power and the v8 ones are even better. They have solid rear axes and feel every bit like the American car that they are. They handle good, but can be a bit of a handful if you are pushing the limit in rain and aren't used to high torque rear wheel drive cars.
Moral of this post is you are going to have a blast.
dudes in mustangs never look right.
mustangs or dudes?
Rent a 350z or 370z for fun or just get a SUV if you're camping. Far more practical
Stock 03 G35 or 350z will still kill just about any ford on the road
Also, mustangs aren't very comfortable in my opinion. The seat never seems to be in a comfortable position, no matter how much you mess with it. But if you're just looking to get from point A to B, and not worried about performance, the mustang will do the job.
Coachella '10, '11, '12 (w2), '13 (w1), '14 (w1) and hopefully every one after
"I was born with music inside me. Music was one of my parts. Like my ribs, my kidneys, my liver, my heart. Like my blood. It was a force already within me when I arrived on the scene. It was a necessity for me-like food or water."
Just like the guys in the cobras.... Right bro
Lol at new camaro drivers also. Real American muscle is from the 60s
You plan on bringing a mustang to Coachella? How many people do you plan on fitting in the car? Are you camping?
A mustang can't realistically seat more than two people.
Camping with sports cars just doesn't work out once you get to camp grounds
Great on highway no doubt, just horrible to your cars sideskirts and underbody as you reach the fields
Have fun rippin on the roads!
Just a shitty "sports" car
