I have a fear boner...I need 80+ for the weekend.
What's the opposite of a rain dance? Can we all do this on tiny chat this week?
It'll be 49 (if it gets that low) at the coldest time of night, which is around 4-5 am when most people (even the ones on drugs) will be in the sleeping bags getting their 3 hours of sleep for the night. So bring one warm thing for the rest of the night, like a hoodie, and you'll be fine. The weather is gonna be dope IMO
weather.com today says 30% chance of light showers. Rain causes people from SC to freak the fuck out. I'm personally prepared for teh awesome.
How is it now?
What about now?
I want David Lynch in this bitch.

I wonder if they are trying to switch up set times to avoid weather problems with some of the more elaborate stage set ups, which explains why they are so late.

There are 2 fronts back to back
It'll be the 30mph winds all weekend...Fuck! - night time is gonna be the right time for a bandana and goggles
last night there were gusts of 50mph
strange thing is during the day it'll be FANTASTIC weather...it's around 3pm where the wind will start - and it won't slow down. It's like a snowball going down a mountain.
drove out to the polo grounds - was windy at 7pm, by 9pm they stopped all practicing and shut it down (due to wind) and by 10pm it was tough to see 5 yards ahead of you.
I hope they pull the Black Keys up to 7pm, because at 11pm there won't be a set.
Weekend 2 is hot...which is all that matters
The wind is gonna make it hard to pitch a tent. Especially for newbies like myself. -__-
I drive by the polo field everyday on my way to work.
Right as I was passing the fields, a few sprinkles dropped on my windshield. A sign of things to come?

ignore that rainbow and look at the way the wind is tearing up that palm tree.
The National Weather Service has issued a high wind advisory for the desert, with windy conditions expected through Saturday.
The NWS says that winds gusting up to 50 miles per hour are expected mostly in the afternoon and evenings, beginning today.
This front also brings the chance of light rain to the desert, with up to a tenth of an inch predicted for the low deserts.
A second weather front, with stronger winds, should hit the desert late Thursday.
Drivers along Interstate 10 are advised to be aware of blowing sand, and areas of limited visibility during these wind gusts.
Meaning Thursday Night is gonna be BAD - REAL - BAD
Prob 40-60mph wind - have a fucking blast trying to put up your tent in that mess....ugh
Fuck, I don't know how to plan accordingly for that kind of wind! I'm not an experienced camper.
can we bring kites?
if your car camping, and its that severe just sleep in the car if your not comfortable pitching a tent in those conditions
Yeah, that might be what ends up happening. I'm getting there early Thursday so I'm hoping to at least get the tent set up... maybe if I use a LOT of stakes, it'll stay put. Stakes is high.
Well, hopefully after Thursday the winds will die down a little bit.
