I was almost counting on Muse being there. When I read the line-up this morning I almost felt like crying cause I hyped myself up too much for it. So i'm PRAYING they will be added. I guess I shouldn't be too upset, I am seeing them in LA on April 10. Oh, and Jamariquai That would be dope.
These wishes are a little out there. I could see people going crazy with the electronic suprises because I don't see any real headliners for the Sahara besides Tiesto. Maybe that's just me. But saying bowie and smashing pumkins, amoung others, are bands that could headline. We've already got our headliners. Deal with it.
I think any other adds will be, like I said a big sahara tent name, a sub headliner or a few second tier bands. I'm thinking like Sufjan, Modest Mouse, Doves. Whoever said Leftfield, that'd be a great add. I would also love Aphex Twin.
i dont think any addition will be a headliner replacement. that's set. they will never move the headliner. but maybe talking heads? Eminem and his crew to bring some more hip hop? Maybe Prince in one of the tents? who knows...
any of these:
portishead, chemical brothers, a tribe called quest, public enemy, Boards of Canada, Amon Tobin, Fatboy Slim, Aphex Twin, Madlib, MF Doom, Afrika Bambaataa and im crossing my fingers for a LEFTFIELD reunion.
queens of the stone age
ned's atomic dustbin (they're back!)
Ned's are back?! gawd, you're killing me. that would be amazing, but i can't see them being much of a draw in this day and age. i saw them at the warfield in '92(i think) and they were great.
with happy mondays in nice big letters, i suppose anything is a possible.
