sub focus was great despite that audio problem he had (also lol@his hair). the crowd at first was very tiny got a little bigger as the set went on. i was really bummed to see how many people there were familiar almost exclusively with his more dubstep-oriented material. i think i was the only person getting down to out the blue when he dropped it early on. his stage show looks really stupid...until it turns on. actually really amazing to watch and went great with the music.
MC was utterly useless.
You must have been tripping when Out The Blue came on. The entire crowd was hyped when that song came on.
Anyone got a track listing for the set. This was the set I was looking forward to most and it did not disappoint. Yes there were some tech difficulties which was upsetting but soon as it was fixed it was amazing. A lot of room to dance and not being pushed around by idiots.
Yo did he play Rock It? Only track I've heard lol (love it though)
it was the 2nd track he played.
to further comment on the uselessness of the MC, he kept instructing people to "get crazy/go nuts/bounce/go fucking crazy" when "the beat drops". as if we've never been to a fucking concert ever or like you know...ever heard music.
I left early because I couldn't stand the tech difficulties. Real shame too cause the track selection was on point!
damn, he ended up actually resetting his computer after a couple min of it really sucking which took ~3.5 minutes and then he absolutely crushed
i felt so bad when i heard the first skip and saw him say "FUCK!" which was followed by several more expletives, several more skips, and several more conversations with a tech guy before finally deciding to pull the plug and start over..thank god b/c we were about to leave, but as soon as the computer was back up it was glitch-free and imo even better and with more energy than the start of the set
agreed, couldn't make it all the way through the song and consider myself a huge fan. its quite clear the direction he's heading with his past three singles but i'm still looking forward to his new album in hopes that it isn't all like that.
