Default Shadow Hills 2015 Off-site Camping

This is the first time I've been unable to get a camping pass, so I ended up reserving at Shadow Hills. I'm stuck with shuttle passes, so might as well put them to use. This will be a big change for me, but should still be fun. Right?

Any other boardies going to be there? Or have been there and have any advice?

Yay, it looks like we will have the place to ourselves. That should make the shower line quick

Hah, my wife and I are going to be staying there. First time to Coachella and Shadowy Hills, though.

I want to stay here instead of Oasis but I already paid a non-refundable 120$. Their shuttles will cost me and my gf 200 but I can use my Coachella shuttle pass here free. hmmm

    The staff is awesome.
    They have showers and toilets.
Cook breakfast for a reasonable price.
    Thursday night is spaghetti night
    Dj's at the pool.
    All around good time.

We will be there for the second year in a row.

I camped there last year weekend 1. It wasn't fun at all but part of the reason was that I parked near the entrance and all my neighbors were boring LOL. That and the windstorm on Saturday blew my tent away. Didn't find it until I left on Monday!

I had! And i even lowered it and weighted it down because there was a wind warning for the evening. I've never seen it that windy in all my years of going to Coachella. It didn't help that my tent was at a corner without any protection from other structures or tents.

My GF and I have a site booked at Shadow Hills. We're renting a camper van from Jucy Rental and driving down from SF. First time at Coachella for us!! Looking forward to it.

Did you use their promo code? Saves 20%, plus free 100 miles per day, free starter kit and one other thing. Saved me 400 bucks
