Will we make snowmen pastiches of the album artwork we listen to?

Last time we did a big cabin trip up there no one actually did any skiing. We went sledding during the day and drank a shit ton. I'd support people skiing if they wanted to, but it's far from a requirement.

THIS is what I'm talking about.

Yup. I got super lucky when they originally went on sale and someone on this board cued me into them. Love those EPs.

Hopefully. Most of the cabins up that area will have them.

Would anyone be interested in coming to Burbank on either Saturday 1/19 or Sunday 1/20 for Record Club? My place isn't very big, but I live in a duplex with a very understanding upstairs neighbor who would be fine with some loud music. There are also a lot of great bars/restaurants in the area which we can meet at before/head to after, one option being Beers and Beats at Tony's Darts Away on Sunday night starting at 8 (http://www.facebook.com/events/437142569673542/).

I imagine you'll get a much better response if you do it on 1/19, as the NFC and AFC Championship games are on 1/20. I think.

If the 19th works best for everyone I'm fine with that; guedita, I live pretty close to a metro red line stop (the North Hollywood stop to be specific) so I'm sure we can all work out a way to get you here if you'll be in town.

Why don't we do this: if you're in, PM me your email address and I'll send a blast the week of with my address, etc.

EDIT - what time of day works best for everyone? Afternoon? Evening?

I'm going to express a soft preference for afternoon on the 19th - trying to visit my bro and fam in SD sometime this month, and that looks like the only weekend I can do it.

So if you all vote against me for evening, I'll still come, and just skip the SD trip for now. But I'd prefer afternoon.

It won't be able to happen by MLK as I'm WAAAAAAAAY too broke to book a cabin. But I love the idea and it should definitely happen.
