looking at goats schedule made me realize i'm doing:
machinedrum > lucent > flylo > sbtrkt > subfocus
which might be the most amazing 5-hour block of coachella i'll have had to date.
The little sketch of the Do Lab on the new map is looking pretty damn sweet
Little bit of a machinedrum vs Jeff magnum conflict here eh?
4/15: Tama Sumo @ Seattle
4/25: Rolling Coastal Blackout Fever, Sloucher @ The Crocodile
4/27-30: Stagecoach
5/16: Mount Kimbie @ Neumo's
5/25-27: Sasquatch
It looks like the Do Lab is open air again this year. If so, I'll be disappointed because of the noise bleed problems. Especially for Jeff Magnum. Got to get in close for that which means leaving machinedrum a little earlier.
Yea I don't like an open air Do Lab.
I like how it was a few years back when it was like walking into a whole different land in there. Hopefully sound bleed issues aren't too bad. Still looking forward to the Do Lab weekend 2 tho!!
The set times posted earlier in this thread for Sat are wrong. I thought I would be seeing Worthy 145-230 Sat free of conflicts. Turns out the Do Lab's blog puts him @ 230 and right into a 3 way conflict for me. Probably still see him as he is only there 1st weekend. Just a heads up in case anyone was still looking at that old post.
looks like its pointing south... mojave is getting double teamed by the lab and the sahara constantly... at least Lucent's performing during GYBE so they'll be relatively quiet.
what, did no one spend any time in here?
My guess is the weather turned people away from the do lab.
I saw four sets there: Worthy, Christian Martin, Machinedrum, and Salva. All of those guys were fucking sick. So good at mixing. Do lab had the craziest dance parties I saw all weekend breakout. I was going absolutely mental when Machinedrum played this at the end of his set:
I actually caught quite a few sets in the Do-lab this year. I saw a good 20 of Machinedrum (my fav set at the lab), some of Salva, Worthy, Christian Martin, Inspired Flight, Jobot, Nit Grit, and Two Fingers. Two Fingers was pretty unreal as well... perfect opening to walk over to Flylo on Saturday.
Loved Jobot, Sammy Bliss, Idiot Savant, Worthy and Deru.
NitGrit not so much. In fact he made me very angry turning the Do Lab into a wobbly wubwub brostep show. Get that garbage out of the Do Lab once and for all.
Yeah there were also some really bad DJ's in there. Do Lab is really hit or miss but sometimes it's absolute gold and everyone in there is getting the fuck down.
Can't wait to party in the Lab this weekend, especially since it's gonna be really hot.
Nothing like get hosed down and listening to some great music.
Patricio mixed Intruder's "Amame" into Benoit & Sergio's "Walk & Talk" at like 12:30 in the Do-Lab and it made me really fucking happy.
4/15: Tama Sumo @ Seattle
4/25: Rolling Coastal Blackout Fever, Sloucher @ The Crocodile
4/27-30: Stagecoach
5/16: Mount Kimbie @ Neumo's

Fucking Mimosa came out with Kraddy and did a full surprise set.
I ended up on stage smoking hash with him and drinking pabst with the Lucient performers back stage.
Traded greens my sessions hoody for his costume jacket!!!!
The most fun and hardest dancing I've done in ten years.....no joke.
Liquid gold....worthy..nit grit and Kraddy. Blown minds!
Finally a word from the Goat on the Do Lab! Sounds like you had a blast! I read somewhere that the Do Lab wasn't going to be spraying water this year, kinda worked out for W1 with the weather, but I hope that's not the case for W2 cuz looks like I'll be making frequent stops here to cooldown and groove.
I was soaked and drooling At do lab. The water was def out. I also saw an Asian girl on stage....acting like she was fishing..she'd cast her imaginary pole out from on stage and her girl friend was on the dance floor. She would reel her girl in and lean over to drop a pink latex 12" long anal plug into the girls mouth, deep throat her with it and then the girl would bite it and the Asian girl on stage would lift her up with the butt tickler as they both bit on it.
I was tripping hard on that. Mimosa threw out cupcakes, kids were dancing on stage.....shit was soooo fun.
Weekend 2 set times are up

Christian Martin had a few sunny day tricks up his sleeve:
Awesome variety in his set.
