I saw her years ago and she has such an amazing voice. I will do whatever it takes to see her. Well, almost.
For whatever reason I had to miss the majority of her set in 2006 so I'm super glad she's back.
She was the first person I saw at my first Coachella in '06. So pleased I'll be able to see her again and drool all over myself for how amazing/beautiful she is.
How the fuck was she the first person you saw at Coachella 2006? Did you not arrive till 7pm?
This'll be my first proper time seeing her. Well, I was there in '06 but was disappointed that she was getting drowned out by the bass coming from Carl Cox in the Sahara and ended up leaving after 20 minutes. I'm trying to temper my expectations and not expect too much from You Are Free or The Greatest or Jukebox, although if she were to grace us with "Good Woman" or "Maybe Not" or "Lived in Bars," I would be a very happy man. Really hope she plays Phoenix the weekend between Coachellas. She may be my most anticipated artist of the weekend.
Moon Pix front to back please!!! Saw hear at OSL a couple years ago, so beautiful.

Is this bish still good? I don't know why, but I haven't listened or paid attention to her for awhile
I saw CP at Loufest in August last year. I wasn't familiar with much of her music, and that was the first time I've seen her. I must say, I was very impressed. She has a great voice, great music and a stage presence that made everyone in the crowd shut up when she started into her songs.
I hope to god they have her playing nowhere near a loud act though, or there will be a lot of sound bleeding over. The end of PJ Harvey's set was almost ruined by Kanye last year... hopefully they don't make the same mistake.
2/21 - Skinny Puppy
5/23-25 - Summer Camp
7/18-20 - Pitchfork Music Festival
8/1-3 - Lollapalooza
I love her voice, she should attract a cool crowd.
I had sorta resigned myself to the fact that I wasn't going to ever see her. Glad to have the chance.
Last time I saw her was an opening slot for Nick Cave, I definitely look forward to her on the polo fields this year.
really hope we hear some stuff off "what would the community think"
Something from Moon Pix, please.
Cat Power seems to cancel on me a lot. I won't hold my breath and be pleasantly surprised if it happens with no hitches.
Nov 6th - Deerfhoof at the Echoplex
Nov 7th - The Red Krayola at REDCAT
Nov 11th - Kendrick Lamar at the Wiltern
Nov 13th - Yo La Tengo at the Ace Hotel
Dec 10th - Kamasi Washington at Club Nokia
Dec 11th - The Bug Feat Earth and Liz Harris at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever
I want her to release her statement detailing her cancellation/drop just like Elly did.
Seriously? Fucking hell.
This really blows
Well, that lightens the load for friday......
