Don't Look Back in Anger was the highlight of the set, for me. The rest was just whatever.

Noel should headline Sunday, not Snoop

I noticed he played 4 Oasis songs, unless I am wrong. I liked his version of "Little by Little." It was great being in the front for that.

Not a huge fan, but hung out for most of the set and liked it a lot.

SOOOO happy he didn't play Wonderwall!! Take that, America!!!

Lock All The Doors is classic Oasis, the rest of the album is a much happier and mellower Noel Gallagher and I'm liking it. But then again, I'm a much happier and mellower person these days. Glad to hear him expanding his sound with Spanish flairs of guitar and sax solos. Been on repeat all week. Been reading and watching a bunch of interviews too. Would have loved him on the Polo Fields again.

    Other standout tracks.

In The Heat of The Moment (original and the remix on the deluxe version)
    The Right Stuff
While the Song Remains the Same
You Know We Can't Go Back
    Ballad of the Mighty I

The Girl With The X-Ray Eyes feels like Noel made an Eagles song. Ballad of the Mighty I is this best track but that's probably mostly because of Johnny Marr.

I could put any of the tracks on that list, but I love the entire album though.

I was thinking about Noel and Liam and the eventual Oasis reunion, and after watching a few interviews, I really think Noel wanted to headline Glastonbury on his own to kinda prove that he could do it without Liam. Seems like Glastonbury thought differently though. Liam seems like he's all on board for a reunion and I'm sure Noel will eventually agree after this tour but I doubt we'd be seeing anything until 2017.

    Also, pretty good read

    http://www.thewarfieldtheatre.com/events/detail/267644

" ...while Ballad Of The Mighty I, the album’s emotional closer, gets its disco guitar sound courtesy of Johnny Marr, still Gallagher’s great guitar hero.

“I tried to get him to play on the last album but it never happened,” says Gallagher. “So when I put this track together and knew he would be perfect for it I called him and asked if I could send him the rough mix. He said: ‘No, I
don’t want to hear it. I’m just going to react to it on the day.’ He didn’t even want any pointers. Well, that was brave of him. He just arrived with two guitars and a bag of effects pedals. And I have to say, he’s unbelievable. He’s way up
there, on another level to the rest of us. The result is a burst of energy that helped make Ballad Of The Mighty I one of the best songs I’ve ever written.”"

X-Ray Eyes does sound like the Eagles, doesn't it? I seem to like it despite that. it feels a bit like it could have fit on Be Here Now.

I am giving the album another chance today but I find the whole thing a bit dull. I think I will be skipping the tour this time around. unless maybe he pulls out some really obscure Oasis stuff. RIP Oasis.

Fade Away! Digsy's Dinner is an odd choice. I thought he didn't like that one much.

I'm sure he'll be throwing it in the setlist throughout the tour. I'd imagine he wants to mix things up a bit from last time and pull out some rarer tracks.

He's not really known for mixing stuff up, though, is he? I'm digging the album and excited to see him up here in he Bay Area when he stops by. Got amazing seats again, 3rd row center, so it will be great no matter what.

Isn't Noel Gallagher pretty much irrelevant now? If he's not gigging with Oasis, whats the point? Sounds to me like he'll play a few Oasis songs and then his regular material.

No "Importance of Being Idle", though. :/ At least I got it at the last show.
