Singles NOT Going Steady
I Don't Know What To Do With My Life
Mad Mad Judy
I Look Alone
Sitting 'round At Home
You Say You Don't Love Me
Why She's a Girl From The Chainstore
A Different Kind of Tension
All from Spiral Scratch, A Different Kind of Tension, or the hugely underrated Parts 1, 2, 3 EP. Enjoy.
I am listening to this band for the first time, starting with: A Different Kind of Tension. "You Know You Can't Help It" is a really fun jam.
Discovering bands like this through Coachella makes me mad at my parents for having absolutely zero music taste.
Tom's mix is missing Operator's Manual, Sixteen, Late For The Train, and the Howard Devoto version of Orgasm Addict, which is better than the Shelley version but Devoto isn't in the band any more so that's not the version you're going to hear anyway. It does contain Hollow Inside though, so all is forgiven.
It's also missing Moving Away from the Pulsebeat, Real World, Walking Distance, and Boredom. and You Know You Can't Help It. and anything post-reunion.
Are any of you willing to speculate on what the bulk of their set will consist of? Post-reunion, newer tracks with some old favorites thrown in?
I just want to see Tom rave to punk music.
Well here's a set they played last year:
3.I Don't Mind
5.Get on Our Own
6.Whatever Happened to...?
7.Why She's a Girl From the Chainstore
8.Sick City Sometimes
9.Moving Away From the Pulsebeat
14.Love You More
15.What Do I Get?
16.Harmony In My Head
17.Ever Fallen In Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)
I'd be disappointed if they don't do "Why Can't I Touch It?"
This is absolutely a must see. I've loved them since I can remember.
Sixteen .........again. boredom for sure. Fast cars for surees
I have always and always will love the Buzzcocks. I couldn't believe it when I saw it on the poster. This is what Coachella is best at. Bringing back lost love.

My friend recommended them, so I got Singles Going Steady...Absolutely love them after one listen through and can't wait to see them. They will be a lot of fun. When I heard the first song, Orgasm Addict, I was thinking "dude these guys are awesome". I'll have to check out your Singles Not going Steady mix.. Thanks for putting that together! Wish I could have seen them at their prime. At least we'll get to experience them at Coachella!
This is gonna be sweet

We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.
