I never thought this would ever happen....i remember the first time i heard shape of punk album and i asked, "When can i see them live." My heart was crushed when i was told they were no longer a band. This has been a long time coming and i will NOT miss them.

Turns out Songs to Fan the Flames of Discontent doesn't have the genre experimentation, but it has the extended song structures, tight playing and intensity of the Shape of Punk to Come. In other words, it's spectacular and suddenly I want to hear them do older music.

Refused has a great "breakup" story, I'm more upset about them ruining that perfect ending to the story then I am about them "selling out", or w/e.
