Brostep is the emphasizic essence of bass electronic music today, though.

They do. It's kind of annoying. I saw them at EDC last year, and while they played some good tracks (I was particularly fond of the Dismantle tracks they dropped), they also played Skrillex's remix of Cinema (along with every other fucking dubstep act there) and Doctor P shit.
yup i was there too... they played about 4-5 brostep tracks out of an hour and a half.
the music is what its all about, you love it just like i love it.
On the one hand, if anybody has a right to play the harder style it's guys like Skream and Benga and Coki. Man was calling it tearout on stella sessions before anyone was calling it brostep. The original sound is sick, because it is just that, original:
On the other hand, tunes like this are supposed to stand out, and when just a handful of people were making them, they did. Now there is so much derivative imitation that has gone so far over the top... difficult to appreciate any of the harder stuff because it all sounds the same now.
Let me see what you're workin with

^You know as well as I do that tunes like this have their place in a set. Just not back to back to back with all similar sounding tunes like you've pointed out.
Even as gritty as that track is, it still has a classic feel with how the drums have been spaced and the general emptiness at times.
northside groove...southside groove....eastside groove...westside groove
Support. He is the only dubstep artist worth bringing out. They need to bring Youngman to MC for him as well.

According to this interview, Skream recently did a 130 BPM techno set. I'd definitely be down to see that.
