Yeah. Totally worth it. They're both reissues, but I don't mind if they're official and they sound fine.

Just a heads up, Popmarket.com has a deal going on right now for an Outkast vinyl bundle. ATLiens, Aquemini, Stankonia, and Speakerboxxx/The Love Below for only $59.99!! 45% off..

I would so snag this but I promised myself I'd wait till I got my new amp/speakers before I buy more stuff

Bought Among The Leaves LP at Kozelek's show last night. I saw it had just gone on sale last week and already sold out online. I'm hoping some of his older stuff gets reissued.

    YESSSSSSSSS

I wish the cover didn't suck, as the original was so perfect, but that album is incredible. Thanks for the heads up.

Congratulations. You own one of the best records ever. The new pressing is insanely gorgeous.

If you dig it and want to hit it from another angle... check out the eRikm take on it called Visitation (pressed on Planam).

Yeah, absolutely. It is a weird cover, but whatever... that album is rad enough to make up for it.

Nice, I'll check that out. And I can't wait to listen to the Ferrari record. Notice I finally snatched the Pierre Schaeffer... I guess it got repressed?

the schaefer is unreal as well. god i love this series so much. I think the goal is to keep them in press if the demand is there... at least, Rehberg hinted as such to me.

just keeping my fingers crossed for more Parmegiani and some Bayle!

Damn right. Never heard Bayle, but I'd love to get some Xenakis released too.

I have 3 pending orders from Pop Market since November and they haven't shipped any of them. It's getting ridiculous.

Then about a month ago I order the AMOK special edition through Amazon Prime and I just got an email this morning that they're "trying" to get it. Fuckers. I don't think that one's going to happen.

Really? I ordered something from them the last week of January and it came last week. Have you tried contacting them? That seems like a ridiculously long wait.

I mean, if that had been the original cover it wouldn't have been so bad, but comparing:

    to

I mean, damn. That second one is just so cool and minimal.

I haven't. Honestly I just remembered when I saw that Outkast deal. I just logged in and all 3 order say they will ship this week but I think that those dates might just automatically update.

I'll give them a call tomorrow.

    Okay, I swear, last post.

This is a collection of his early singles, and they are almost uniformly excellent. Gonjasufi sampled Yagmur, the third song, for his track Cowboys and Indians.

If I were to introduce people to Erkin Koray, I'd use Arap Saci (which I've always seen as a self-titled compilation) and then guide people to Elektronik Turkular. So basically, fuck you for making me spend a ton of money to get these albums when I can't really afford it. That is, unless I can convince someone to get them for me.

Wat. Where the fuck did you find this?

EDIT: Nevermind. Very glad this record was reissued. Not very glad they used such a shitty cover for it.
