Got the remastered/cut at 45 rpm versions of Ride and Puppets through work, plus the funk 7" that Geoff Barrow and Adrian Utley made in 2002 that is pretty fucking awesome.
LP:
Metallica - Ride the Lightning
Metallica - Master of Puppets
7":
The Jimi Entley Sound - Apache b/w Charlie's Theme
I have the 45 of Master. It's fucking phenomenal.
If you guys are punk fans and ever have the slightest opportunity to pick up one of the Big Boys records, DO IT. Industry Standard is well beyond worth my $25, and I will be diligently seeking out any other albums by the band. They were revolutionaries.
I hear The Knife's albums will be reissued on vinyl in March

I picked up Captain Beefheart's Clear Spot for $11 the other day which is my second favorite album by him...It is pretty beat up but I love the songs on this album and bear through it.Since there is some Black Keys talk on this page here is a cover the Black Keys doing a song from Clear Spot. Also HOLY SHIT pulling up this song I found ANOTHER Captain Beefheart cover by the Black Keys they have about enough songs for a great Captain Beefheart Ep cover by them.
... meh its an OK cover
