Out of all the festivals in the world this always has the lineup that fits my taste.
Off lineup alone it would be
Roskilde
Glastonbury
Coachella
I'm guessing they are using Bjork's confirmation to sell early bird tickets and won't reveal any more names til 2012. Armrite?

roskilde's lineup is always appealing to me as well. i won't make it this year, but it is on the bucket list.
This festival always seems to have a bomb diverse lineup. To have slayer and radiohead play in a single weekend? Sounds like a damn good time to me.
I love poop.

If i´m not getting tickets for Denmarks games at the European soccer championship in Poland and Ukraine i´m all in.
What nearby festivals book seems to be a good clue to who will end up at Roskilde so here is a small list.
Hove Festival: Skrillex, Real Estate, August Burns Red and DevilDriver.
Open'er: Björk
Peace and Love Festival: Skrillex, Lars Winnerbäck, Anna Ternheim, Deportees, Di Leva Edguy, Enter Shikari, Hardcore, Melissa Horn.
Primavera Sound: Bjork, Codeine, Guided By Voices, Jeff Mangum, Neon Indian, Other Lives and Yo La Tengo.
Radiohead in Italy two days before...
Well, I guess five days since I'm sure they would be the unopposed Sunday headliner.

uhhh that sounds promising.
I was waiting for this thread to be made. My early bird tickets arrived in the mail a week earlier. Roskilde is going to be my last stop on my Euro backpacking itinerary.
Unless something unexpected comes up, I'm going. Looking forward to see you guys there!
By the way, I was reading the 2011 thread and last year Roskilde was releasing confirmations on a weekly basis around this time. They did it by dropping hints about a band and letting the audience guess. I hope they do something similar for 2012.
They had the thursday late night "opening" spot the last time they were in town but a sunday closing act could also be a possibility.
Its not official yes but rumours in the danish press says that Bruce Springsteen will be revealed as the first headliner in a few days

It's confirmed that The Boss will be playing Roskilde on Saturday.
This is now Bosskilde Festival.
Has anyone here actually been to the festival? If so, mind sharing your experience?
I'm guessing that the second announced act once tickets go on sale December 1st will be RHCP. It definitely fits their tour schedule. Stay tuned...
I have been at the festival 5 years from 2006 to 2010 with a year of this year when i visited Balaton Sound instead.
But i'm a local living in Køge around 20 miles from Roskilde so that doesn't count. ;-)
I'm guessing that the name that they gonna reveal tomorrow is Björk.
Is it the same clue they have on facebook?
It's official, Björk for Roskilde.
Björk and Boss, decent set of headliners, those.
