Trading OSL for the burn unless the lineup is epic.
I love the wine and food and park though. The art was cool too. Also the trail through the forest around the field.

You wanna fook on me?!
Yeah I'm definitely trying to go to this again next year. Had way too much fun, and now my girlfriend and I will both be 21 so we can finally enjoy winelands, etc. I really hope the lineup is excellent.
I recommend parking in outer Sunset where ever you can find a spot and then taking the N Judah back towards the park. Less people travel in that direction.
*based upon tedious fact checking.
Yeah, what Dorkfish said about parking is the best idea. If you get in early, you can find parking in the Richmond area too, with alot of school/church parking lots being used for the festival - but those are $20 or more a spot.
With Bruce coming through in April, doesn't that make him alot less likely to be headlining, or is that a long enough time where it doesn't matter?
We parked a few blocks north of the park in the Richmond area every day and it was chill if you got there early (around 10:30-11:30am I think).
My friend lives in an apt around there and parking on her street was relatively painless.
This is the smartest thing you could possibly do for parking wise. My brother lives in the Inner sunset and if you even want a chance to getting on the N Judah that direction you need to leave during the encore break, other wise no chance of getting on the inward Judah. I'm lucky enough where I stay is only a mile or so the walk is not bad, but anything more of that good luck.
I am really starting to love this festival so much now. I don't know if it's the location of it or it's really just more my style then Coachella, but I am super excited about this more then I have ever been before. It might be because that I can't go to Coachella this year but I am so looking forward to this.
I also think that makes the boss not happening with him playing in April in San Jose. That really sucks was really hoping to see him there. With him out I really have no Idea who the headliners are going to be this year, and truth be told I kind of like it like that, makes it for a better surprise IMO
is it safe to say the chili peppers are out because they're playing Oakland Aug 14/15? or could they play Oakland AND Outside Lands in the same week?

I was thinking about hotel strategies for this year, and I went to look at the old info from last year on the site but it has been taken down already. They had a shuttle last year that went from a specific hotel around Bill Graham auditorium I THINK to the festival. Did anyone partake in this, remember the name of the hotel that participated in the shuttle? Last year we didn't do much pre planning so I'm looking to play my cards right this time around.
Where do you see dates for australia? I see them in Japan at the end of July. Don't see a big problem with them traveling across the pond for sf. They should have two weeks to be here. Would be magical to see them in golden gate park again. I would love to have radiohead / neil young / jack white headline

The 2009 line up with morrissey, Mccartney, the cure, The killers, franz ferdinand and a ton of others had me so drooling. I'm so sad that is something that I missed. Here's to hoping Outside Lands can pull a line up like that off. What are the chances???
They might be able to pull The Killers.
hahahaha
April 24 - Queens of the Stone Age
April 26-28 - Levitation
Too good to be true.
Beck and Neil Young totally fit. However, I don't see Radiohead coming back to the West Coast following their AustralAsia tour, but I'm fine with being wrong.
