Chopped and screwed.
Chopped and screwed.
The titles of dubstep events in SF proper ALONE would've been enough to fuel a proper parody thread, you just didn't put enough effort into it breaux.
Just Announced! Whompin' Forever feat. DJ BLEEPBLOOP LIVE w/ MC Filthscrobbles
Or, y'know. Something like that.
Pot is DJ BLEEPBLOOP though.
This is not a parody thread. I expect you to use it.
You live inside a brush fire. Get out of my utilitarian thread.
WRONG STATE FUCKO

Anybody esle checking out Plaid @ Mezzanine 11/25?
Night after Thanksgiving.
I'm going to start using this thread for SF bleep/oontz discussion.
Heidi was SO DOPE last night. Such good vibes up in there... when she played Julio Bashmore "Battle for Middle You" towards the end of her set the place went
Fuck man. I love that track. Glad to hear it was a good party.
I support the utilitarian value of this thread.
And, the promotion of the vastly underused word - fucko.
My track of the night (other than the Talking Heads and jazzy stuff of indeterminate origin that Boris Werner played once the crowd thinned out and things got pleasantly weird):
Played by Heidi during the back half of her set. Never seen a PW crowd so animated.

S.F. panel uses clout to make nightclubs safer

What do you mean people don't want to get a pat-down to go into a club with cameras everywhere???The Entertainment Commission has an inspector who attends parties, raves and dance halls every weekend and can stick problem venues with fines starting at $100. This summer, the agency issued 17 citations and 34 violation notices. Club-related crime data provided weekly by the police help the commission track trends and identify repeat offenders.
That expanded tool kit came in handy in November 2010, when a man was fatally shot at the Gravity Room in the Marina. The commission suspended the club's permit for a week and ordered beefed-up security measures. Shortened hours, increased security, pat-downs for every club-goer, security cameras monitoring the inside and outside, and contracts for hiring promoters were among the changes made to its security plan. Shortly thereafter, the club shut down.
Not enough people are getting fatally shot for clubbing in the Marina, though.

This thread is a mean joke.
The real SF thread is here:
We already posted that show though... if it's been emailed, posted on Facebook, or flyered at another event, chances are it's here. We're sort of rabid about our show listings.
chiapet is an alias, continue using this thread. The other thread is for musicians.
