Not sure how the stream could affect Tom being off key and sloppy on every song

Tom might not be the best, but he does the songs pretty great. And compared to 09's reunion he is much better and this was the best of the 3 times I've seen them. This was my first acoustic Christmas and I enjoyed it. Sure the bands get short sets but its fun. A little bummed on the whole incubus thing and how sulbime with Rome came but it didn't matter in the end. I just wish there was a surprise.
The problem is he is Tom and they are Blink-182. End of story.
blink was always, to me, a club band. they just are not meant for large venues. some of the best times i had were seeing blink in sweaty little clubs back in the mid 90's, probably saw them a couple dozen times before they exploded. just didn't translate to arenas, imo.
I'm seeing them in an arena tonight so I will report back. I'll try not to let nostalgia cloud my vision, no promises though.
It was fun.
Have fun.
Noel Gallagher just blew me away. Tonight's show is looking pretty good so far.
How did foster the peeps get such an early set time? Surprised Noel Gallagher is above them.

Oh right, having been in Oasis takes no precedent at all.
I wonder how many people actually know that.
It would be different if they billed him as "Noel Gallagher (this guy used to be in OASIS, you know, that 'Wonderwall' song?)

i would imagine a lot of people know that.

I think people would know. Also, I am sure JustSteve and Psychic Friend would have your head if they saw your post of wanting Foster The People to be billed above Noel Gallagher.
Oasis has been a staple of KROQ for forever now. People know who he is.

no one in my section had any idea who Noel Gallagher was. They probably just thought he was some random guy covering Oasis. I'm glad he played a lot of his new stuff though. I left right after Black Keys, but everyone pretty much sat the whole time, except for Florence's whole set. My section must have just been really odd. New Black Keys stuff sounded good. I hope they don't make Little Black Subs into one of those songs that's on the album but never played.
i have a feeling that Little Black Subs will be the third single.

Mumford was the best last night, followed by Black Keys, then Death Cab, Noel, Florence, Naked & Famous. Yeah, lots of people were sitting during Black Keys which was somewhat unexpected. I did not think I'd enjoy Death Cab as much as I did. Alison and I agreed it felt like we stumbled into the middle of an actual Death Cab show, as opposed to watching a band compile a set for a KROQ festival. Mumford just blew the roof off, tho. So much joy in that room during their set.
