"The Rollercoaster Ride" - The Boy with the Arab Strap - Belle & Sebastian
"Modern Romance" -Fever to Tell - Yeah yeah yeahs
"Rodeo in Joliet" - Goat - The Jesus Lizard
"Ecstasy" - Rid of Me - PJ Harvey
"Thank your parents" - Happy New Year - Oneida
"The Tourist" - Ok Computer - Radiohead
The only one of those I don't disagree with is the Oneida track, and that's probably because I'm not overly familiar with that album:
The Boy With the Arab Strap - Sleep the Clock Around
Fever to Tell - Maps might be the cop out, but it's great. So is Man.
Goat - Mouth Breather. Without a doubt.
Rid of Me - Man-Size, 50 Ft. Queenie or Yuri G
OK Computer - Either Exit Music (For A Film) or Lucky
"B.I.B.L.E." - Liquid Swords - GZA/Genius (Sadly, not included on the vinyl version of the album).
"Coconut" - Fever Ray - Fever Ray (though on any given day, I might say "Keep the Streets Empty," instead.
"Upon This Title Wave of Young Blood" - CYHSY - CYHSY
"Kissing the Beehive" - At Mount Zoomer - Wolf Parade
I think there's a solid argument for nearly every Radiohead album, putting aside Pablo Honey. "Street Spirit" from the Bends is certainly in the running and would be my choice. "The Tourist" is also a contender from OkC, though my choice would be "Let Down." "Motion Picture Soundtrack" is goddamn amazing track and a great choice from Kid A (mine would be "Idioteque"); "Life in a Glasshouse" is a solid choice from Amnesiac (but probably not the best track . . . man that album is so stacked . . . tracks 1-5 are all just amazing). From HttT, you have "A Wolf At The Door," which is a defensible choice, even if it wouldn't be my choice (hard to choose between "2+2," "Where I End," and "A Punch Up," for me). While I'd go with "Weird Fishes," "Videotape" is a defensible choice from In Rainbows. And finally, I think "Separator" is the right choice from TkoLs, actually by a long shot. And, as a bonus, I'm not sure that "Cymbal Rush," isn't the best track from The Eraser (though, I'd probably accept "Atoms for Peace" too).

of Montreal has been pretty uninspiring the past few years, if not outright disapointing. I really hope Kevin Barnes can pull off brilliance like this again

Comforting Sounds by Mew from the album Half the World Is Watching Me even though 156 and Am I Wry? No are good songs.
I must admit that I cried during this song at their 2009 performance at Roskilde Festival.
Agreed with of Montreal being pretty uninspiring these past few albums, since Hissing Fauna, really. Went from one of my favorites to damn near unlistenable. But the best track on Hissing Fauna is "The Past Is a Grotesque Animal." I'm pretty sure this has been scientifically proven, or something. That track is a goddamn masterpiece. I wish he still made good music. I miss it. Maybe he could invent another alter ego, but this time, that alter ego could be Kevin Barnes circa 2000-2007.

I guess I've heard "Bang A Gong (Get It On)" in enough Chevy dealership and JCPenny commercials by now that the song has lost all meaning to me. The best song on that album is "Rip Off"
After re-listening to Hissing Fauna recently I'll concede to "The Past Is A Grotesque Animal" simply due to it's lyrical heft. The acoustic version Kevin did a few years ago is pretty amazing.

edit- just noticed TomServo's post.

It's funny how everything was roses when we held on to the guns.
Coma is a great track....but it can't compete with November Rain.
Love the of Montreal selection off Hissing Fauna

I'm not even sure I can say this is true with this album decisively, but it's starting to look like that. An album that is pretty much one big highlight reel, and right when you think it's almost over "Another Life" comes on and makes you angry that it's over. At least two more choruses than the average song, that are at once excessive and absolutely vital. Falsetto that will cause the roof to collapse if you're listening to it indoors. After a countless number of listens, this is the one that's really starting to affect me the most.

We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.

Primal Scream's More Light - It's Alright, It's Okay

Jon Hopkin's Immunity - Immunity
In Utero - All Apologies

Superfan will be in front of the Fonda masturbating furiously to a photo of him taking a photo of a band. Set is from 8:05 to approximately 8:05:15. Guest list only.
Upcoming Shows: Spamalot (7/31), HARD (8/1) 2001 Space Odyssey with LA Phil (8/12), Opeth (10/18), TOOL (10/31), Coachella 2016 (WK1), David Gilmour (Wherever I need to go)
Alkaline Trio - Radio
R.E.M. has some really good closers (Little America, Oddfellows Local 151, Find the River as people have noted, Electrolite all are serious contenders) but ultimately feel like they're all second or third best on their respective albums
