Yeah, and it looks like so far there's no real reason to get in before 3pm any day either - although i've time to research some of the names i'm not familiar with.
It's going to be weird watching Spiritualized at 2:15 am

9/14/16 - Wilco @ Theatre at Ace Hotel // 9/18/16 - Kraftwerk @ Hollywood Bowl
I am trying not to think about all those right now, it's making my head spin! I'll be able to get a better grip on things if they release what times the sets end too.

Fantastic.
What kinds of sets can we expect - normal festival times of 40-50 minutes or so for most acts? Is it generally 30 minutes between acts on stages for tear-down/set up?

30 minutes of setup between acts on most stages, except maybe 90 minutes between acts on the San Miguel and Ray Ban stages.
Whomever made the spreadsheets has been updating and fixing things. i took postable screenshots.

It seems really fucking strange to me that Beach house and Real Estate are on at the same time. If anything they should back to back on the same stage.

Im not going this year but would like to try to do this fest either next year or two years from now and if you spend about a week in spain how much does this trip end up costing for one person? I want to start planning early on money so I can go with out being stressed for money.
Yeah, The scheduling in general is certainly pretty bizarre. i'm just going to have to live with that fact that there are easily 20+ bands a day that i really want to see and it's simply feasible for that happen no matter what the schedule is.

The John Talabot / Japandroids clash is killing me.
Arc times are up for Wed too (8pm for The Wedding Present). God knows what time the Apolo show (Kindness and Chairlift) will start unless it is on at the same time.
Obits at 3am should be fun.
I can't figure out how I'm going to choose between Talabot and The Field.
So The Walkmen have been added to Wednesday, and Saint Etienne moved to Bjork's slot on Saturday.
How does one choose between The xx, Refused, and Sleep? Seriously!!!! Worst conflict ever
You truly do have to pick one. Stages are spread a little too far to catch a partial set. If you run fast, you can go from Ray Ban to ATP stage in 5 minutes.
Wow, this is going to be a challenge. And then of course they put Melvins on during the Cure... Primavera planning committee is a bunch of bastards! I'm never going to see Melvins
As someone who has seen all three, Sleep hands down
DREAM BIGGER
I caught plenty of partial sets at Primavera. It takes maybe 10 minutes to wander from one end to the other, in the process passing 4 stages.
Sleep is not playing that same night. They do however start 30 minutes into Refused's set and play at the same time as the xx.
The Melvins start 25 minutes before the Cure, and The Cure will play a 3-hour set. Sunni, want Melvins and then go to the Cure! my huge problem is that Melvins, War On Drugs, and Liturgy all play at the exact same fucking time!

That's a negative. Field Music play the exact same time as Afghan Whigs, which is one of the absolute-cannot-miss-for-whole-world acts of the weekend. i've heard good things though and just wrote them into my recommendations write-up i'm doing for my sister (she's not much for research) who probably will not be that into the 'Whigs.

Glad to be returning to this festival for a second year, so I'm not going to get to hung up on the conflicts.

Luckily I will be returning back to the bay the same day as Sleep playing at the Fox. So I think I am going to go to Refused since that show slipped through my fingers last time they were in town.
Is anyone going to be in Barcelona the week leading up to the festival? I'll be staying at a hostel in Las Ramblas, pregame adventure? Also, what is the address/neighborhood of the festival? I would like to start figuring out how I am going to get from the city center to the fest before I ship out.
Chris, I need your e-mail/phone number this way we can keep in touch about getting together on the 30th.
AHHHHHHH I leave in 5 days!!!!!
Sunni, when i figure Heather and Mine's international phone numbers I'll make sure you get them.
From what i can tell Parc Del Forum is a leisure area, which is where it is held. If you google map the HOTEL BARCELONA PRINCESS you'll get right to the general area where it's held.
Here's the festival map:

EDIT:
Here's a photo of Parc Del Forum from the Primavera Wikipedia page. you can see that big triangle building as Forum Bldg on Google Maps.
