Well luckily you aren't making these movies. Not to be a dick but to use the same villain in three separate films that belong to a franchise that has LEAGUES of them to choose from, several of which are flat out better or more interesting than Scarecrow, is just a waste.
I'm hoping that Ledger will do a little tumble in his grave when Hardy makes the world forget about the Joker.
I think a non-Jim Carrey riddler could be a pretty good villain.

I enjoyed the two Batman films Tim Burton did in the late 80's/early 90's (despite Burton's reluctance to do the second) - even Mask of the Phantasm was tolerable, but the ones with Val Kilmer and George Clooney as Batman were fucking atrocious; they fucked the franchise off with those two.
I don't know what to make of these Christopher Nolan films though.
Chill.
That's what I hoped for for this third Nolan film. I would've casted either Gordon-Levitt or Depp for that roll, made them creepy as hell, an actual ability to fight (unlike Carrey's Riddler), and he outsmarts Batman or something like that. Somewhere along that path.
^ Someones been smoking some good shit.
'89 Batman is the only Batman that matters.
Well I wouldn't have Batman face off Scarecrow in each film. The Joker would still have been the focus of the second film, only I would have cut Two Face and showed Scarecrow in more than one scene. Really, the last film would be the one where Scarecrow is the villain, it's just that you would have seen him becoming a full-blown Scarecrow in the others.
And I've never read a Batman comic. I'm just basing this on the fact that I used to watch Batman cartoons when I was small, and the Scarecrow was always my favorite villain.
That's a fucking awesome image

After watching it in the theater I can officially say they really dropped the ball on this teaser. The entire crowd I saw it with was equally unimpressed. No lectures on what a teaser should he because I'm well versed in it. They could've made one even better using even less footage but whatever, we have a full year to geek out

I don't understand the people who put so much energy into hating these movies.
